Don't tell me to lighten up! You need to gain some empathy for those poor desperate people who are a part of this horrible situation. You are wrong, No, most jokes are NOT a way of sighing at society's ills. And you need to apologize to those people who are so desperate they have no other recourse but to leave their families behind for months at a time in order to send money back home so they can feed them! Yes, some are not so honorable, and some are so despondent they have fallen into addiction to drugs and alcohol. That is no laughing matter! It is a very very sad state of affairs.

And your self justification doesn't make it okay to make sick jokes about a people who are so desperate and poor that they have search in another country for work!
There is nothing funny about the types of jobs they do for others and the living situations many of them are in!
Many of them are living in one room filthy shacks because they don't get enough money to survive or to send back home to feed their children! Many of them come here and get stuck in some catch 22 that doesn't allow them to progress in any way but only keeps them as a slave laborer!

Also, Being prepared on a personal level does not mean doing nothing when it comes to helping those who are not prepared to know the salvation of Christ Jesus. Being prepared does not mean doing nothing for the betterment of mankind. Being prepared means to pitch in and help make the world a better place to live in, by spreading the goodnews gospel ( a gospel that teaches people how to be freed from bondage, how to be freed from sin and how to become a people who are committed to obeying the Holy Word which leads them OUT OF SIN into a prosperous way of life here on earth by way of the HOLY Spirit indwelling in them. That Holy Spirit being of that Holy Spirit of Christ Jesus. Just what do you think it's all about? some imaginary magical mystical fairy tale? :-? It's a real way of life! The harvest is plenty the laborers are few! Sad, you didn't get that point yet. Maybe you will soon, I hope so. We are missianaries for Christ, are we not? :-? So then, why do you mock such poor desperate people? Yes, it angers me that they are bringing diseases here and no one is taking precautions to stop it! Yes it angers me that they are living here illegally and no one is doing much about it. But there is HOPE and we must all work and lobby to get something done about it! So don't make sick jokes about them.
Making sick crude jokes does not serve as a good example for Christ. One can be funny without having to make sick sarcastic jokes about people who are suffering because of rich greedy people and corporations oppressing them by using them as slave laborers.
No if's, I am not living in fear. I have no fear of what man can do to me. However, I do have respect and fear of the Lord God. The fear of the Lord also means to respect Him. Making sick jokes so as to compare people who are desperate to make a living to a criminal who breaks into your house is not funny. There is a solution to help those people. The Mexican government needs to get it's act together and Americans need to stop putting down those people. Yes, many of them come here harboring diseases like tuberculosis and many of them are living here working under the table while they are taking advantage of our emergency room services while hospitals are being closed because of having to go bankrupt.
Yes something needs to be done about that desperate situation! No doubt about it! But there is HOPE and there is a way to make it better. Whether you know it or not, All Christians are to not just sit back and watch all hell break loose! Faith without works is dead! We all need to get involved more closely with what's going on in the government. We all need to be more active in keeping up with and protestings against bills that are outrageous in their content. Our government has become corrupt because of the lack of citizens being alert to what is going on. In other words there are far too many slackard people out there, who do nothing to make any changes in our society! Making sick sarcasm about a desperate poor people is NOT FUNNY!
You need to apologize to all the people who are involved with helping thes people and who understand the nature of the problem and stop comparing these desperate poor people to someone who breaks into a house and acts like a servant who expects something in return. You have no idea of what humility these people are going through, having to leave their own country in search of a means of supporting their families!
Your carefree attitude serves no one well! We believe, yes and we have faith, but don't you realize, faith is the substance of the things hoped for and that faith without works is dead! You can't expect a harvest if you don't labor in the field! Being prepared doesn't mean we don't do anything!
James 2: 14-26
17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?

24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?
26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
This is no joking matter! Stop making sick jokes and get involved for a good cause about the matter. What good can be done for the betterment of all?
Instead of making sick jokes about these people, be a participant in helping to cure the problem, and work towards it! Sick jokes just don't cut it on a Christian web site. Christians don't make fun of desperate poor people who are heart torn to leave their families for months so they can send money home to feed their children!

You have no excuse for making those twisted remarks as if it was just a joke. If you refuse to apologize well, then what does that say about your recklessness and disregard for the conditions people find themselves in.
You had better pray you never have a situation in which you are so desperate you must leave all that you love behind and venture to some strange land where they only pay you slave labor wages and not enough to send back home to your starving family!

Yes, not all of them are good for our society, but hey are desperate people who need help! And what do the Americans do to them? They take advantage of them and treat them like slaves!
