Hello I am a member of the Tribe of Judah Christian gaming clan and wish to inform fellow Christian gamers, who may be playing alone, that Christian gaming groups or clans exist.

Here is a link to our web site as well as a link to a couple other Christian gaming groups with which I've played. Please feel free to visit, read up on us and see which games are being played by whom.

http://toj.cc Tribe of Judah
http://christiancs.com/ Christian Crew
http://www.corclan.com/ City of Refuge

Also of note is the Christian Gamers Alliance. It is an umbrella of sorts that some Christian Clans share a single Christian gaming forum with http://www.cgalliance.org/ . A few Christian MMORPG (World Of Warcraft, Warhammer) groups frequent them among others.

Right now some of the games played by members of these groups are on sale via the downloadable game provider Steam until January 2. http://store.steampowered.com/holidaysale .

For my part I am Co-Leader of Tribe of Judah's "Team Fortress 2" group. Team Fortress 2 is on sale on Steam for 9.99 or for $26.99 with other games in the Orange Box combo pack. We would be happy to get new members (note we generally play on Tuesday, 8:00pm central, server IP 8.9.3.149:27015 .

Be aware NONE of the games played are perfect in content as nothing of this world is. Please review each thoroughly before buying and don't assume because we or other Christians are playing it that it will be acceptable to you. Thank you for your time.

I did like the "What is a Christian" at Christian Crew's site. I'm curious on what options there are for say Halo 3 players or users of other games not mentioned on these clan sites.

Sorry but I don't know of a Christian Halo 3 Clan. Toj.cc does have a X-box live chapter though and at least a couple guys were playing Halo 3 a year ago http://www.cgalliance.org/forums/showthread.php?t=23571. You may want to check some of those guys for adding to whatever friend/buddy system X-box has (I only play Computer games so I do not know).

There are other Christian Gaming clans out there but they everyone seems pretty fractured. Sorry I couldn't help you more.

I may have not made this clear but all of those Christian Sites are non-commercial and free to play on their respective servers. The only difference between the servers they run and the public ones is they have some level of Christian moderation and a nicer group of people to game with. As for the groups themselves I am only associated with one in a volunteer capacity and the others I have only gamed with. The Steam sale was only mentioned because you could get some of the games cheaply and I am in no way associated with them. Thank you for your time.

Just interested, in a 1st person shooter do you apologise to christians before you kill them online? ;) :D
