I no longer like calling myself a christian because so many people are doing bad and claiming to be Christian, the name is being destroyed. Also Christian represents to many sub religions like Mormons and Catholics whom when you look at them closely, are very very very different.

I follow the Bible and the teachings of Jesus accordingly, yet saying that isn't enough. :crying

'I am a disciple of Jesus Christ!'..? Yeah that ones cool......You can still be a follower but without the label that is becoming so polluted.....

"church of Jesus Christ and latter day saints"

very misleading when they go against the new testament.

One question for you chevy. Well i tend to agree with you on your first sentence, I do not agree with your second sentence in any way. You also don't agree with your first sentence in what you put forth in the second sentence. Explain this logic please.

I will point out for you some terms used incorrectly in the second sentence if you will. First Christianity is the religion. Mormon, Catholics, and whatever denomination you put yourself with, am I right in assuming you are of a Protestant denomination, are all sub divisions of this religion.

As a younger 'Christian', I found that others had many and varied interpretations as to what a Christian was. So now, I don't offer the label 'Christian'. I can say that I am a 'Believer' which of course envokes the question 'believer in what?' . . . "Well, I'm pleased you asked!"
