Can we know God? If so, how?

Bruce,,,are you going to respond to my post no. 117?
Another member on here also has a problem responding to my posts.
Are they too difficult due to the common sense approach I have?

You're asking in this thread...something that a reformed believer should not be asking
if, indeed, God predestinated everything.

I'd like to know better why you would even make such a thread....
Does man have free will or not?
Can we grow our faith or not?
Isn't it up to God?

Now, it may seem that this has nothing to do with the OP,,,
but IMHO,,,it has everything to do with it.

DOES GOD PREDESTINATE EVERYTHING OR NOT??
Thanks.

Seed brings forth after itself.
God's seed will never bring forth liars, thieves, or adulterers.
Those reborn of God's seed will grow in grace and knowledge, but will never again bring forth Adams fruit.

That which is born of God will grow over time, or die.
It will never bring forth the fruit of another seed.
Hopeful 2, I don't understand your answer. You say that we grow but don't. Is that right? Please explain. Thanks.

Where do I find the posts' numbers? I'm on three different forums and X. I can't be always answering every post. Of course, God predestines everything, GodsGrace. My question at the beginning was about knowing God. However, even though God has his plans for all events, humans also have full responsibility for all their actions at the same time. It's a mystery how all that happens. Joseph was inspired to say to his brothers,
Gen 45:5 And now do not be distressed or angry with yourselves because you sold me here, for God sent me before you to preserve life.
Gen 45:6 For the famine has been in the land these two years, and there are yet five years in which there will be neither plowing nor harvest.
Gen 45:7 And God sent me before you to preserve for you a remnant on earth, and to keep alive for you many survivors.
Gen 45:8 So it was not you who sent me here, but God. He has made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house and ruler over all the land of Egypt. And in Genesis 5:20:
Gen 50:20 As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.
Thus, the Bible says both are true, predestination and humans' responsibility. As a result, God is not at all responsible for human sin and suffering; humans are.
To answer your post, we are responsible to grow in knowing God with Bible reading and study, church attendance, and praying to him.
