Cancer survivors?

Are there any other cancer survivors here? I was diagnosed with testicular cancer in june 2005 and have been cancer free since I finished the chemotherapy at the end of 2005.

Yesterday after church I had some questions regarding the sermon and I went to look for the pastor. I found him talking to a 30 or 40ish guy. As I got closer I overheard him say he just found out he has cancer. He was scared, nervous, confused...all the things you are when that happens. As I stood there waiting my turn the pastors wife, a breast cancer survivor, came up and was consoling him and telling him her story. I felt compelled to intervene so i just stepped in and said' we could start a support group' and told him a little of my story. We then proceeded to the prayer loft and prayed for this man and his family. Jesus will be with him every step of the way.

A little while later I finally did get to ask my questions, but they seem insignificant now. I thought I had some questions concerning the sermon, but God had other plans.

:clap

I love God's plan better.....it's so awesome to hear how the Lord shows who is in control of all things. Holy Spirit in action.....and HIS plan was obviously better......cancer support group in church is wonderful, and used you as a partiscipant. We serve a mighty God!!!! :amen
