God's Gift: A Survey of Cannabis in the Bible available as a free pdf download or book from this site.

It's linguistic and occasionally a bit technical - but I personally sent a hard copy to the Vatican just to make sure they got the message.

Mat 15:11 Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.

Mat 15:11 Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.

Smoke in, Smoke out.

Garbage in. Garbage out.

This is not saying you can put anything in your mouth and you wont defile yourself....

you might be able to smoke marijuana for medicinal purposes-pain treatment(I'd rather use that than oxycotton) But to use to get high and escape from life and to seek comfort after a stressful day is not ok. the Lord wants you to seek comfort in Him

Blessings

As a pain reliever I don't believe that God wants us to ruin our lungs inhaling noxious smoke for that purpose either! He is our healer. He can ease our suffering--in the miraculous and in conventional medicine based on good science and applied appropriately--with His wisdom.

Have you read the side effects of medicines?
this substance is much less toxic than opiate derivatives.

Yes He can and does, I know this from first hand experience

I agree

Filling and harming my lungs with ghastly smoke is not my idea of healthy pain reduction. It is an oxymoronic activity.

why do you seem to always be angry?

Angry? Me? I'm not angry! I just can't understand why people compromise on their call to holiness. Jesus is to be our all in all, and people are just making Him their pal. I am not angry--I am sad...

how presumptuous!
You can't be saying because I think it would be O.K. for a cancer patient to use marijuana instead of a opium based-oxycotton(more addictive and more side effects than heroine) is some how compromising??? How is marijuana worse than oxycotton, morphine and other opiate derivatives?

Oxycontin?
? a is that how it is really spelled? Wow, you are a very patronizing person. You can't even answer peoples rebuttals you just attack the person?

answer please?

I am going to try my best to treat you with the dignity that God created you- even when you are so unkind

It isn't unkind to want to know what drug it is one is discussing...

All drugs have their downside. when my mother was dying of cancer and in dire pain, cannabis would not have been an option! First of all as a Christian, she doesn't SMOKE. Secondly, the drugs she did take for pain were administered in small doses--enough to kill the pain. Oxycontin was the drug. It eased her pain effectively.

It is for some

what other sins disqualify someone from being a Christian? Explain to me how smoking is "worse"than taking oxycotin?

I still think a natural substance that God created has to have a purpose. I believe the purpose is pain relief as other medicines. It is much safer than opiate derivatives.

As always. Sometimes rebuke is necessary and people think it's unChristlike---couldn't be further from the truth.

I'm not exactly sure what you are saying. Were you are always in discussion Christlike to me(or others)?
