I'm able to repair the 2000 Sable ac,but the cost isn't worth it.my wife is able to drive my truck.she has a bad right shoulder. I'm thinking a new or decent used automatic car or truck within price range.also quavia has a van that needs both motor mounts and a water pump.

Prayers for you, your wife, and Quavia, my friend.

There's nothing quite like vehicle woes.

I have fixed her car before.she called me at lunchtime and needed a ride home.she had it towed to her home.I told her what what caused the belt to fail and took her to buy parts.it's when I installed the parts that I noticed the water pump was bad.it has a bearing issue. Probably hit hard when the belt tensioner locked up.o have seen a water pump throw a belt and in the process take out the harmonic balencer

It's claimed that the newer vehicles last longer and can go for hundreds of thousands of miles. Hence, the higher prices for the higher mileage vehicles.

That's too bad about your Ranger. The early models of Rangers were rather dependable.

2002.it was recked.the older ones used either the 2.3,2.9,3.0,4.0 engines ,mine had the 2.3 that was a dual overhead cam.I got my wife that truck.she at first didn't want it but it grew on her.

What sort of vehicle would you be looking to buy now if that's the route you decide to go?

I was eying suv or a car big enough for her to use for jaci being picked up and taking my dog to the vet.or rides.which I took Cheyenne to the bank.

My dog likes to accompany me to the bank as well ... as long as I agree to do the drive-up window. He knows he'll get at least one dog biscuit then!

The Toyota I have now is an answer to this

Ah!.... thanks for the update!

Does your wife like the Toyota?

No doubt!

I like it as well!
It used.I saw it while driving by the lot .I can't remember if it was to go photo something or just out and about. It was two months ago I got that.

That made it easy! I hope I'll have the same ease when I start looking for another vehicle. (Since I don't enjoy shopping, I'm not looking forward to the time I'll have to car shop)

It's also helpful that this truck was on the side of lot closest to Us1.it was on the lot for a week.
