On April 17, 1968, I was born in Fort Myers, Florida.
I say this not because I am seeking "Happy Birthday" messages, although they are appreciated, I say its my birthday because I want you to know that I am thankful to be alive. I am appreciative of each breath, every heartbeat. I delight in the splendid sunsets we have in Central Florida. I am a genuinely gleeful individual and for this I have many people to thank.
I'd like to thank my mother; she played a significant role in my birth.
I'd like to thank my father who has never ceased to encourage my creativity.
I'd like to thank my wife who makes me feel like a decent human every day.
I'd like to thank the men and women of the US armed forces: these amusing pictures and inspirational bits exist because of their sacrifice.
I'd like to thank Cold Stone Creamery for their lovely coupon.
I'd like to thank God, the One who makes all things possible.
I'd like to thank everyone who sends inspirational emails. I read everyone and I try to respond to most. If I don't reply, please don't take it personally.
I'd like to thank everyone who visits shut-ins and shares Cat Scriptures with them. That is one of the main reasons why I've made these since 2004. Lord willing, I'll make Cat Scriptures for who knows how many years to come. If you get the opportunity, visit or write a shut-in. People who are lonely or physically or mentally impaired always enjoy visitors. Even people with Alzheimer's usually respond to human contact. There but for the grace of God go I. Someday you or I may be alone or incapacitated and we will wish that someone would call or visit.

Anyway, I tend to go on a bit. Bottom line, thank you one and all for your kindness. Lord willing, I'll send out another Cat Scripture Thursday night and then Sunday and then Monday night for weeks and years to come. Life is Beautiful because God is so good. -Jason
