God told Moses about raising up a prophet, like unto Moses, and God would put HIs words into his mouth, to speak all that was commanded him. (Jesus told the Word He has spoken, the same Word shall judge us in the last day, that He has not spoken of Himself, but what the Father gave commandment, as the Fathers commandment is life everlasting, and He came not down from Heaven o do HIs own will, but the will of Him that sent Him/ the will of the Word/life everlasting. John 5:30. 12:48-50.)
God also told that whosoever will not hearken to the words he will speak in his name, that God would require it of him.
God told in Deuteronomy in the wilderness, about the problem of Israel, that He would hide His face from them, for they were a very forward generation, children in whom there is no faith.
Gold said He would move them to jealousy with those which are not a people, He will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.
Moses the same day, was told by the Lord, that because Moses had trespassed against the Lord, because he had not sanctified the Lord in the middle of the children of Israel., he had to go up to the mountain, to die.
There arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face,
11 In all the signs and the wonders, which the Lord sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land.
The Word of God told Israel, While they have light, to believe in the light, that they may be the children of light. These things spoke Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.
But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him: that the saying of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke, Lord, who has believed our report? and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
Deuteronomy 18:18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.
19 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.

Deuteronomy 34:10 And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face,
11 In all the signs and the wonders, which the Lord sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land,
John 12:36 While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.

38 That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?
God in Psalms speaks to the people in parables.
We had heard of the praises of the Lord, HIs strength, HIs wonderful works, He had done. God established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, telling the generations to come, that they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep HIs commandments, to not be as their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation, who set not their heart right, whose spirit was not stedfast with God.
Psalm 78:1 Give ear, O my people, to my law: incline your ears to the words of my mouth.
2 I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:
3 Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us.
4 We will not hide them from their children, shewing to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done.
5 For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children:
6 That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children:
7 That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments:
8 And might not be as their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation; a generation that set not their heart aright, and whose spirit was not stedfast with God.
Israel had not sought the law of righteousness by faith, and had stumbled at the stumblingstone God had layed in Sion, that whosoever would believe on Him would not be ashamed.
Did Israel not know ? Moses had said to them that God would provoke them to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation He would anger them.
Isaiah was bold and said, God was found of them that sought Him not, God was made manifest unto them that asked not after Him.
But to Israel all day long God had stretched forth HIs hands unto a disobedient and gainsatyng people.
Romans 9:31 But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.
32 Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;
33 As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
Romans 10:19 But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you.
Romans 10:20 But Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me.
21 But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.
The gospel of Christ is the power of God unto salvation for everyone that believes. In the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed, as it was written to be, the just shall live by faith.
This is the wrath of God revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, ( of all men) who hold the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God was manifested to all, God had shown it.
Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
