If you would like to donate knitted items to a charity, here are a few suggestions These are some of my favorites:
http://www.pgm.org/
Pacific Garden Mission
1458 S. Canal Street
Chicago, IL 60607
Home of the radio drama, Unshackled!
http://www.unshackled.org/
On one of their recent broadcasts, they asked listeners
to donate unwrapped gifts for adults and children. Some
requested items are: male or female adult clothing, any size,
scarves, knitted caps, socks, gloves or mittens, and, also,
children’s sized clothing or toys.
Please mail to above address.
Please note: they will be happy to accept any gift, at any
time of year.
Their phone number is: 312-492-9410
Another charity I like is:
Project Linus
http://www.projectlinus.org/
Check their “chapter listings†tab, at the top
of the website, to find the closest Project Linus
to your home.

National Right to Life

(financial gifts, primarily)
