Ok
so I just did my first batch of buttermilk marinaded breaded pan fried chicken. And…
Pretty good for a first time! But not as spicy as I would have liked. I started with frozen chicken and did an overnight marinade. Is that the issue?
The chicken is surprisingly juicy and I’m glad I didn’t let it marinade longer. I sliced the egg wash and the flour.
It’s not bland but I like a bit more flavor intensity.
Any recipes or suggestions? I’m thinking that I may just have to use fresh chicken next time…
