Childhood Hymn Verses that Stick

They must have made an impression. I still love those old organ hymns from a 60s childhood.
And such fine lyrics!!

" By your kingly power
O Risen Lord
All that Adam lost
Is now restored"

No wonder such words and haunting chords stick . It's a big part of my current faith. That childhood memory. I was lucky not to have any dark ones. As some people experienced. Mine was a glimpse into Heaven.

I still sing that verse occasionally whilst driving to work. Ahh childhood faith is much stronger than adult uncertainty.!

I still love the stain glass windows. And all the Catholicism...well most of it.....the smell of Benediction incense......and the Latin too..gave it some exotic spice...
