OK the truth is Jesus Christ.
But is it just possible that the truth and wisdom he gave, has been eroded and diluted over time?
So now, after 2000 years, the gospel message has changed its original meaning?
Just like the game Chinese Whispers. The last message is very different to the first one.

There are some scholarly thoughts on the bible being edited and tweeked over the years. Mand that supports the idea that God's word yesterday might have been different then it is today. However I believe the other way. That God can and has protected His messages to us in the bible. That and there are findings from ancient schools like the Dead Sea scrolls that our modern bible is pretty accurate. The changed and edited over time theory I think is more a philosophical view then it is anything with actual evidance of changes.

I believe that God has not left us alone, and that the Holy Spirit has helped people who make translations from different languages, or just to modernize to be easier to read. I know it's not just the Holy Spirt. They've put in a lot of hard work in order to get where they are. But I do think the Holy Spirit is there and God's hand is there when the translating process is undergone. Heck, from reading how some of the translating process went to make the bible into English, and be affordable, there seems to have been several attempts from competing and waring dominations/countries that lead to how the bible was brought into English. I think God allowed that to be able to create better translations in a relatively short amount of time for the people.

I don't see a reason why God would even bother to start if he knew his word would just get corrupted, it just does not make sense.

It's a trust thing. I mean people can either trust the gospel fully that not a single thing has been changed, or if people don't then there is no idea to know what parts are true and what are not, so that makes everything just a waste of time and not a single verse has any credibility as you don't know what parts are true or not.

The simple answer is you are 100000000% wrong.

Please start following the Christian baby trainer coldcasechristianity.
He will train you in how the scribes took care over the material they copied, about just how many thousands of copies there are of large parts of the Bible, how the early church fathers quoted so extensively that the n t can be assembled almost entirely from there quotes, about the families of translation that exist and how different biblical documents can be identified according to the translation family.

You can be sure that the Bible is more authentic than any other historical documents.
