Hello!

I'm writing here as a kind of a request.
I'm a young boy from Estonia(a country in Europe) and
I'm a guitarist in a church band and our bands purpose is to
spread the word of our Lord among Estonia's youth.
The problem is that our instruments are really poor in quality and
there has yet to be a performance or a rehearsal where we haven't encountered
a problem with our equipment, yet.
So, I am asking to you, fellow Christians for your help to get
us new instruments with which we would be proud to spread the word
of Jesus. Every time we perform somewhere (on the street, in the youth center)
there is a lot of interest in us.
Also, we would like to buy some time at a studio here to record
some of our own songs.

As a drummer for 11 years and sound guy for another 5, i know all about music in general.
If the people show interest in your playing already that' good. If your passionate in your playing, get a job and save up :D it works must faster then asking for money online. Or put on a show with your current gear for the sole purpose of advancing your equipment, put up a sign " Help us out with new gear to better spread the word" and then rock out man.

You should have seen the gear i started out with, a 300$ cheap drum kit with no name cymbals and no recording gear, we made it work, and now i am sitting near my 5000$ drum kit and am the head of a youth worship team and play all over my Provence at youth rallys.

What instrument do you play anyway?
 
That's what everybody says but it's hard to find a decent job.
Our current gear isn't worthy of a live performance. The sound quality
is horrible. Well you of all people johnmuise should be able to understand
how hard it is for a starting band to get decent instruments.

What instrument I play?
Well what do you think a guitarist plays :D

might as well send the guy $10... nah.... how would that help him..."

I don't mean to sound rude but i don't think your going to get any free hand outs here. I gave you the best advice, you need to get a job man :)
 
Maybe if you post some contact details for your local Church and Priest, I cant see people being adverse to donating some spare change to another church as I'm sure most of us donate to causes we think are worthy but you cant expect us Christians to hand over our hard earned cash to anyone who asks.
 
Sorry buddy, I don't really like handing my moneys out on the internet :-D You've got Macca's and other fast food outlets and stuff there don't you? Try get a job there, they'll take anyone and even though it's minimum wage it's still good work experience and you can work your way up from there :)
