How about the Lords EAR DRUMS? (and mine) And music a certain way??? That leaves a huge gap.. far, far apart in today climate! But, see where most of today's stuff originates from! Eze. 28:13 And if we think that the young of today are not being destroyed by satan's stuff called music, then we have a 'real' problem as 'i' see it!

Music is supposed to be to glorify God. He doesn't care what kind it is!

If this is a thread to denigrate the modern music coming out of anointed churches, then stop right now.

We as Spirit-led Christians are creating this music with the excellence that comes from the anointing of God. These musicians, such as Jesus Culture and Hillsong, two of my favourites, are seeking only to glorify God in their music.

Do you really expect us to believe that the Lord (who is spiritual since His resurrection) has physical eardrums that can be damaged by the physical motion of air molecules that you consider to be too strong for your personal taste? Maybe you're right, but to me, this doesn't make sense. Please explain how this happens?

So in the way that you "see it" is all new music from Satan? Even all new Christian music? If so, what kind of music do you feel is NOT from Satan? You do realize that when the old traditional hymns (Do you approve of those?) were new, some people in those times were saying the same things about them that you are saying about today's new Christian music, right?

What does Eze. 28:13 add to this? Splain it to me please.

Just to clarify, short of being convinced otherwise from scripture, I'm not for or against either new or old music. There is music I personally like and music that doesn't appeal to me from both the new and the old. The time period of it's writing really isn't a consideration for me in deciding if it appeals to me or not. I'm just at a loss to understand what type of music you would consider acceptable to the Lord.

I think the worship that God hears is ear-splitting in heaven!

We can't take ear plugs with us! Get used to it now! God is thrilled with our praise when we praise Him with everything we've got, holding back NOTHING!

I don't think He is too blessed by curmudgeonly types who reject Holy Spirit-fired worship.
