As the bible prophecies continue to be fullfiled, it brings me to the Christian persecution. My question is how is this gonna take place and if it is will the world just stand to watch I really need to get this clearified thank you God bless.

Just sad. your religion persecutes others then wonder why you yourselves get persecuted? Seriously wake up.
You are correct. There are Christians who persecute others, sadly. Such behavior is not unjustified, and should be appalled by Christian and non-Christian alike. However, the behavior of some Christians does not justify the persecution of Christians -- be it one or millions.

We, the world, should not stand by as people, regardless of religion, have their basic human rights violated.

Why not Millions of americans do it daily when they say bad things about muslims and other middle eastern religions.

Yes im sure the rest of the world will watch as the Christians get persecuted. Seeing as the Christians persecut others. Guess the old saying what goes around comes around.

Christians don't persecute anyone. However, people CLAIMING to be Christians have persecuted a lot of people--including those who ARE Christians. Anyone can claim to be anything they want, but claiming it doesn't make it so. Claiming to be a Christian doesn't make it true, any more than claiming to be good looking will make me that way. :D

Do the actions of a million people justify the action? No.

Pot call the kettle black more IMO
First off, the first two aren't legit Christian groups, in my humble opinion.

Secondly, I would rather see prayer banished from Senate prayer than to allow Hindu, Muslim and other prayers. The ultra politically correct liberals are out to destroy all that is good, or what's left of it in this country. That is my not so humble opinion.

Thirdly, this is a Christian site. Please do not come here finger-waving and belittling our Faith. :gah

From what I gather from scripture, the saints in Israel get persecuted pretty badly in the future and I dont think I would be able to help them.To tell you the truth I am informed by scripture to not enter Judea at that time .As for the rest of the world ,I dont know.Ive not read much about what goes on in other parts of the world.Seems to me most scripture is concering Israel and the middle east.I recon we just have to be ready to take whatever the world dishes out.

Personally, I can overlook the finger-waving and belittling. He gives me someone else to play (i.e., debate). :)

How are they out to destroy? Because they allow other religions to open a Senate meeting with their prayer? Dont forget that this country was founded on religious freedom. They are just allowing others to have an opening prayer. Is that wrong....No. Is saying that they are destroying the country by doing so....Yes.

Was missionaries going to other countries and basicly forcing a religion them wrong....Yes it was and its a sad part of our worlds history. No single person or a country/race/tribe of any sort should have anything pushed on them.

Is what gets me is that Christians and many other religions say that the relgions that came BEFORE them are wrong. Religions that were created and followed back in some odd 1500BCE

Do you leave candles lit when you leave the house? I hope not because one unattended candle can burn down your entire home... and others' if you live in a complex or community. Do you understand the analogy?

It's like this: Once upon a time, some boats came here to the new land filled with believers trying to escape religious persecution. They were primarily Christians. Pretty soon more and more people boarded those boats; some were Hindus, some Buddhists, some Muslim and some believed in nothing at all.

Eventually the boats started to get overcrowded. The newcomers got together to discuss a plan to alleviate the overcrowding. Their decision... throw the Christians overboard! :help

Not without a fight! Judaic-Christian beliefs and morals have been the norm in this country for quite some time. I say it is the secular humanists that are the ones imposing. Freedom is good, but freedom without morals and responsibilities will become the downfall of any 'civilization'.

Now let's please get back on topic. Any further attempt to derail this thread will result in editing or deleting posts.

This is about truth. A Christian knows that Jesus Christ is the truth. Hence you will find that Christians are very tolerant of others. However, a line must be drawn. Otherwise the others will seek to water down the truth and render it as just another religious ideal.

When that happens, We as Christians will stand behind the truth...at all costs! :yes :salute
