Is the demand for these "Christian" Horror, thriller, sci-fie books really that great?

In books and movies the priest always get their butt's handed to them on a plate by some devil or demon possessed person. For once I would like to see someone walk in and say in the name of Jesus, leave and the devil run with it's tail tucked between it's legs. Just that simple. Not all this holy water and mumbo jumo stuff the priest use in movies and books.

I read a short summary of it, and it really scared me too, I'm not sure if it's right to read those kind of books, but that's all your own choice of course! I guess I'll just stick to my good old Narnia books. ;) Got to love C.S. Lewis!

Heart of Terror is a Christian espionage novel not so much a Peretti-type thriller. In fact, there is even a little humor in Heart of Terror.

Quick correction on what I said before;

I just started reading "This present darkness" by Frank Peretti and it turns out that it is a really good book, even though I find myself losing concentration while reading sometimes, but that's just me.
Only read a small bit so far, but it seems like it's a very interesting book to read.

Angel: I've heard a lot about Frank Peretti's book. But I've never read it myself. Seems like it and books like it have a certain appeal to their readership; but if ppl are not into that kind of thing it doesn't have a universal appeal.
