    Strengthening families through biblical principles.

Focus on the Family addresses the use of biblical principles in parenting and marriage to strengthen the family.

Christianity in public schools

Training up children in the way they should go is a command, and it is given to parents. The unbeliever school system will never get this Biblical job done, because unbelievers don't believe in it.

Stop voting for levies just to get "free babysitting". Its not Biblical to allow unbelievers to train your children up.

Vote out the bank. A generation ago, one wage could support the average family. Because of bank inflation, it now takes 2 wages, leaving no one at home to train up the children. Divers weights and measures are not Biblical.

Don't the secular fools know that at onetime the Bible was used to teach, in the early public schools.

Yes, before we were actually a nation. This was during the colonial expansion peirods, well before the ratification of the Constitution.

With that, the Bible is not banned outright. The issue is that the Bible shouldn't be used as a history or science text. Its a very welcome collection of books in social studies, literature, and comparative history. Its only an issue when its used as THE history book, or used as "science" text book. That is where most problems come from.

I'm not an anti-theist and don't think its a good idea to ban any religious text from school grounds. I also think its a bad idea for Public schools to try and incorporate religious ceremony and prayer into the rigorous routine of the school day though. Just my 2 cents.

Banks you mean are forced to loan by the governmental to loan in the past.

I recall learning about Greek and Roman mythology in school but it was never taught as anything more than literature and history.

Yes it is, but they can't train up their children if they are not at home to do so.
You have options outside of school that are the government.congress shall make now law establishing one religion. .since all public schools are funded by the feds they must treat all equally

No, I mean that banks inflate away people's wages, forcing both parents to work.
Dude.I lost 1000 dollars last year, and haven't seen raises,in 5 years .the dod raises aren't even inflationary. Yet I had money to piss away.the banks will not sell a home to you know even you are overpricing your bid by 20k usd.they want the highest bid.I have no issue with profit but these homes at times are needed work.even new ones will take money to maintain.I'm there now.

But wouldn't you say that, that was a good thing ? Back then you had to to do book reports on the Bible and memorize, was that not a good thing. I still say this is a Christian nation just like the Supreme Court declared in 1892, this country was founded on Christian principles even though we have fallen short and the founding fathers did not get it right on many things, like slavery for instance. But teaching the Bible in the school system then was the right thing to do.

I would be amiss I'd I didn't long for those days bit we mustnt force any faith on another, besides your church can request to have a volunteer group to come during school hours for bible study .it's been done, most churches doNT know about that.

Oh I remember prayer in school and the posted ten commandments

Theocracy.they don't work btw what if you are Pentacostals and the majority are catholics and they are in control? The church drove the idea of Seperation of church and state.it's my job not the government to teach the bible.you are against welfare but are arguing that the state take over a church or parent function.giving and taking care of the poor is a function of whom?

Or perhaps we got too greedy, "needing" to feed our desire for more. Bigger homes even though our families have been getting smaller. Since 1970 the average home has nearly doubled in size while the average family has shrunk by about 25%. Newer toys (i.e., ATV, Snowmobile, boat, camper, etc.) and not just something to get by but it has to be top of the line and new. We demand a much higher standard of living today than we did in 1970. Our automobiles are no longer good enough to just get us from point A to point B. Now they must have the latest in technological gadgetry which were either not yet available or were special order only back in 1970 (i.e., power windows, A/C, power locks, power seats, premium stereo systems in lieu of AM/FM radio, power mirrors, back up cameras, etc.).
