Christianity is anti sociability. Someone actually said this. I paid little attention to it.

Sounds like the same kind of thing that others have stated while trying to assert that Jesus is a rebel.

Christianity is NOT anti-social, unless we wish to consider ultimate destruction of all things to be "social". The whole "Judge according to what appears right in the sight of man" thing results in every man for himself. Putting God first is the only way. That's what Jesus did and that's why following the highest authority is not, can never be, rebellion.

We're taught to be in the world but not of the world. Ha, even Jesus went and hid when the hatred started to build. Remember when he said I AM, they wanted to crucify him, but he hid himself. John 8:58-59 Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.†59 So they picked up stones to throw at him, but Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple.

Probably cause christians are not interested in negative things. Not much positive to socialise with.

Perfect!!!
you deserve a VIP Stand at Camp Nou. God bless you. (This is precisely my friend's problem...he wanted to sin freely). So he made that statement...and tried to justify it. Yes there is 'anti' in Christianity...for people lost in sin

Did they mean asocial? Because that means something totally different from anti-social.

Either way, I wouldn't say it's true. Some Christians can be asocial or even anti-social, but definitely not Christianity as a whole.
