Well I'm off. Lot's to prepare for the Christmas season. I love the songs. New songs written by professionals with a good handle on the Truth of God's word as well as old time classics. I'm playing for our Christmas worship services (on the 18th) and then on the 24th and 25th. Lots of folks gone on the 25th visiting elsewhere so hence the 18th big service. That's when we have the children's choir do their thing. It's hours and hours of prep for the band. It's around 20 hours of together rehearsing together and an additional 10 plus of individual preparation. A labor of love if you like to play music. maybe we can share some of our favorite Christmas worship songs? I'd love to hear what others are doing too to celebrate the birth of Jesus!

Put up the nativity in front of our house, and then go inside to pop open some bubbly - Diet Coke - like I do every night. Would that our focus would be as locked in on Christ all year long.

Is your music anything like what I posted today in Humor

Have fun in between a lot of work getting all set up and broke down

That is the part I don't like. Setting up and sound checks take forever as does a proper breakdown. Everything in it's place.

We go to the service in the morning. It's normally a fun one and is only for an hour.
The kids go up and show of one of their presents. Then the whole church plays a game and we sing carols.

When we get home I open a bottle of bubbly.
We also buy a birthday cake and sing happy birthday to Jesus.
