I LOVE Christmas music...
Some of my favorite carols are:
God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen
O Little Town Of Bethlehem
O Come O Come Emmanuel
Silent Night
O Holy Night

What are yours? Other songs are ok too.
I like All I Want For Christmas Is You

ooh, i love Christmas music! :glee:

i tend to like songs done by specific artist more than covers of the same song. examples include:

Auld Lang Syne - Barenaked Ladies
Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas - Christina Aguilera
O Holy Night - Clay Aiken
Drummer Boy - Jessica Simpson & Ashlee Simpson
It Feels Like Christmas - Lettermen
All I Want For Christmas - Mariah Carey

of course one can not forget these classics:
The Chipmunk Song - Chipmunks
Twelve Pains of Christmas - Bob Rivers

i only wish 'Weird Al' had a Christmas album

I love O Holy Night especially when Chris Tomlin sings it.... amazing. especially the part where the choir goes "Fall on your knees..." for some reason, it just gets me.

Dustin Kensrue from Thrice (one of my favourate Bands) has done a cover of O Holy Night
on his first ever Christmas album This Good Night Is Still Everywhere i cant wait to buy the CD.

Some of my favorites are:

O' Little Town Of Bethlehem
The Little Drummer Boy

My faves:

God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen
O Little Town Of Bethlehem
O Come, O Come Emmanuel
Silent Night
O Holy Night
What Child is This?
Little Drummer Boy
Carol of the Bells
O Come, All Ye Faithful

I have a preference for choral and string Christmas music. O Holy Night is probably my favorite and the best version is by Paul Potts.

On a more modern note great for Christmas. ;)

MARY DID YOU KNOW

Mary did you know that your baby boy
would someday walk on water?
Mary did you know that your baby boy
would save our sons and daughters?
Did you know that your baby boy
has come to make you new?
This child that you've delivered
will soon deliver you.

I cried the first time I heard it. And that was live at Calvary Chapel while in Salt Lake City. They had an absolutely awesome band (worship team) back then and I hope they still do :)

O Come O Come Emmanuel :praying
Mary did you know :clap
little drummer boy :thumb
do you see what I see :yes
Silent night :praying

And on the lighter side of things...
The night Santa went crazy~ Weird Al :rolling
I am Santa Claus~ Bob rivers :lol
Dear Santa~ Sean Maury :biglaugh

I love hearing a choir. I also love Jazz versions of my favorite songs. They make my spirit so happy.

I just discovered a great new Christmas song--a new original song, and there are not a lot of great original Christmas songs out there. All the good ones have been done a million times.

:wave :thumb Christmas Present by Tara Mathew :yes
