Christmas is linked with the great truth of the Incarnation: the Word Who became flesh.
'And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us; and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.' (John 1.14)
Praise God for the coming of Him Who is truly 'God manifest in the flesh' (1 Timothy 3.16)!
'God of God,
Light of light,
Lo, He abhors not the virgin's womb.
Verily God,
Begotten, not created,
O come let us adore Him,
Christ the Lord!'
