Christmas Trees & Lights

Oh, we'll be putting up a tree complete with lights and ornaments (otherwise known as the Interactive Cat Toy)

Good my cats are outdoors cats. I'd skin this one. :lol

Naww...having the cats climb up and down the Christmas tree just adds to the general joy of the season. We just don't decorate the tree with anything that's breakable.

....now the Christmas that my in-law's dog lifted his leg on the tree...sheesh, guess he thought it was doggie "indoor plumbing". Had to unwrap, disinfect and re-wrap all the presents. :nono2

Seriously, though, some cats in the Christmas tree can be a hazard. At the very least a major mess and even knocking the thing over. Also, some may want to chew on the wiring so a person has to be careful of that.

Yes, yes, we must always keep in mind that sad but sober reminder in "Christmas Vacation" when Aunt Bethany's white kitty cashed in all 9 lives under the chair.
