Synopsis:

"Prince Caspian" finds the Pevensie siblings pulled back into the land of Narnia, where a thousand years have passed since they left.

The children are once again enlisted to join the colorful creatures of Narnia in combating an evil villain who prevents the rightful Prince from ruling the land.

"Prince Caspian" was first published in 1951, and is the fourth book in the seven-book series written by Lewis. It was intended as a continuation of "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe."

I am looking forward to it by why the long wait ???

Oh this is truly awesome. I just read Prince Caspian about a month ago and I am very excited for this. :P :D

Prince Caspian news continues to seep out from all corners as http://www.Narnia.com unveils a report of exclusive footage seen at this year's Comic Con festival. NarniaWeb summarizes the materialâ€â€narrated by director Andrew Adamsonâ€â€and emphasizes the new film's increased reliance on battle sequences and action footage; Adamson says that the action was a "button on the end" of the first film, but is "inherent to the story" in Caspian.

And Caspian is just the beginning. The Christian Post notes that Disney has committed to filming all seven books in the series. Meanwhile, IGN and MTV both report that a new Narnia film is due out every year until 2013â€â€as long as they're successful at the box office. The MTV report contains still more chatter with Adamson, who claims, among other things, that the remaining Narnia films will be "more consistent" and more faithful to the source material than the Harry Potter movies.

Says Adamson, "Harry Potter is a different [animal]. C.S. Lewis wrote more efficiently [than J.K. Rowling]. We have a chance to embellish, [not exclude]."
