The thing about "myths" is that a person considers what they do not believe a 'myth'. And even if someone can tell them the difference, they still think that because something is wrong in their eyes then its a myth.



For instance:

I find the Bible directly speaking to the fact that 'we' are a soul that lives in a body. But never the less, many times you will hear it said that we have a soul, not that we are 'the' soul. In fact, not that I am trying to bash anyone here, but it was said earlier by someone on this thread.

Point being. They think one thing, we think another. A myth is simple something someone deems as untrue. Even the word has dissimilar meanings based on context.

Hey, not saying its a bad thread, but all it can boil down to a bunch of opinions, and end up in arguments. Just look at all the thread topics with the word "myth" in the A&T forum. lol.
I dont think its been a waste the comment about the animals on the ark i will remember. Its only meant to be an educational thread not a critical of Christianity one
