City with best NYE fireworks this year

which city around the world does the best job do you think in lighting up the sky?

I didnt watch any fireworks, i was stuck at home. Some day i want to go to time square for new years.

i like watching them usually I watch the Sydney ones because its on tv, I saw them at Sydney 3 years ago, which was fairly spectacular

I watched fireworks last night, from the front porch of my in-law's house in the huge metropolis of Emmett, Idaho (pop. 6357, "SAA-LUTE!!" And, remember, Emmett spelled backwards is Ttemme!). Of course, I don't think that it was a city sponsored event. 'Smatter of fact, I think it was some neighbor who was using up the last of their highly illegal stash from 4th of July.

But still, they were quite pretty, greens, blues, reds and they really lit up the sky!

Usually I hear, rather than see, fireworks at the New Year.

Though it seems that around where we are it's been pretty quiet this year......

Fireworks that are illegal in many other countries without a special permit are legal here in Iceland. Last year I made my first (and so far only) youtube video. It's not a fireworks show. It's what people in my neighborhood were shooting off. The entire city looks like this. Tourists come to Iceland just to see this.

Very good video I am so envious. I would love to see that in person.

If we had that here in Australia where everyone had fireworks like that the country would be on fire the next day. So would many people because most would be under the influence of alcohol to some degree.
