[_ Old Earth _] Clear off the cobwebs.

I'd like to see a thread where Christianity is actually applied to science.
Christianity seems to always get thrown out in these threads.

I Corinthians 10:31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

32 Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:

33 Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.

It's like plumbing. A plumber can be a Christian. He can apply his Christian beliefs to the way he conducts himself in his interactions with customers, suppliers, and others. But when it comes to replacing pipes, he does it the same way an atheistic plumber would do it.

That's the rub. Newton denied the divinity of Christ. Yet gravitational theory is not Arian gravity. Einstein was a Spinozan deist. But relativity is not a deist theory. Darwin was an Anglican when he wrote his book. But evolutionary theory is not Trinitarian Christian theory.

As threads are opened, and discussions get underway, it is requested of all participants to be careful of the new furnishings in here. We ask that no one throws a glass of water at anyone, and absolutely NO food fights.

Should anyone feel the need to take off his/her shoe to pound on one of the new tables for emphasis, just don't.

Each participant to this forum has been given a 'key' for entrance. Guard this key and do all that can be done to not lose the key.

Oh, and one more point: Have fun!

My guess is 4 days before the first post gets edited by a mod.

(Edited for ToS 3.78. Obadiah.)

(Just kidding. I didn't really edit anything. Just couldn't resist the temptation to mess with this! :rofl2)
