College Basketball

I'm wondering if anyone is in to college basketball. College basketball has been my favorite sport to watch since I was a kid. That may be because I live in the same town as the KU jayhawks.


Who is your pick for national championship?

And who is the one team that will get way farther in the tournament than they "should"?

Go Lady Barons. Our School's women team is First in the nation in our organization.

The area I live in is really good for basketball. Washburn 20 miles away won the national 2A championship last year, my JR college won the JR college title 2 years ago, K-state women were also really good last year, Ku has gone to the finals, final 4, elite 8 in the last 3 years and currently sitting #2 in the nation. :D

I only see one area with this much talent and that is North carolina with wake forest, duke, NC, NC state and that also includes their womens programs.

KU's women's basketball is pretty bad.

I'm rooting for my alma mater - Oklahoma State. They made it to the Final Four last year - hopefully they can go all the way this year.

Although, the ACC is like a whole different league. OSU would have to play perfectly in the tourney to do it - and hope for sub-par games from UNC, Duke, etc.

I'm not worried about Duke at all, they aren't deep enough to do anything. UNC is too inconsistent to string together that many games successfully (I know, it is the curse of Roy williams :-D ).

I'm pretty sure OK state will do well. But I'm only thinking elite 8. Which isn't bad at all.

I actually have tickets to the OSU/KU game :D

My final 4 is Illinois, Wake forest, KU and someone else to be determined, maybe even Texas Tech if they keep playing like they did against KU :o
I didn't know they were that good, scary.
