College websites...

Depends on what I'm looking for exactly.

Let's just say I'm a freshman entering undergraduate or graduate school (in no particular order except for 1).

1) Their academic program
-faculty/research if graduate school.
2) Their news/reputation.
3) Their student activities
4) Their location
5) Their size
6) Their website design (I can't help but notice it, good websites get bonus points from me)
7) Other random facts I might find interesting.

Otherwise, if I'm not looking at a school...I have a very specific goal in mind.

If I were trying to learn about a college, I would just to go to the admissions office and they probably great resources for you. If you were interested in research, then definately check out the accomplishments of the professors comparitively to other universities.

ah, but you see that only works when you live close enough to the college you are looking to learn about. I lived in New Jersey and I ended up going to a college in GA.
