Not necessarily bad with the exception that it is mandatory. ThanksHi donadams
Right! Which is not a bad thing, just by definition. Any program funded as a group that provides certain 'good' services to the group, is a good use of socialism in my book. However, the true definition of socialism also incorporates that all the production facilities to provide goods and services are under the control of a overarching group or government. So, this form of socialism that you're talking about, isn't really true socialism. It's just people helping people.

No it's not. It's called welfare/a safety net. Socialists such as Marx and Lenin opposed welfare programs because it stifles revolution and the siezing od the means of production by the Workers and/or the Vanguard. That’s socialism
Thanks
You are on the right track, you can call a system anything you want. What you need to do (which I do believe you are doing) is figure out what is important to you and see how any system fits with it. What are the needs of yourself and the people? What avenues do you have to address these issues. If not who does and why? This is what you call stupidity. The government made all these rules around landlords being able to rent to tenants yet we have thousands and thousands of homeless.
I tell you the truth I live in own camper at the moment and there are people here at the park who are literally living in there cars, yet someone can't rent a boat or a shed?.
Traveller's buy and live in backpacker vans for years travelling the country, rental companies rent big campervans for people to travel and sleep in long term, and holiday parks rent caravans for people to sleep, yet someone can't rent a shed or a spacious boat on there private property when there is a housing crisis?.
Too much government interference. It should be a private agreement between private parties where and how they want to live.
