I believe, according to the words of Jesus Christ, that heaven is repentance:

From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." Matt 4;17 RSV

My own experience tells me that when I resist the temptation to sin, I have an amazing peace, and when I don’t, I do not have peace.

When I share what I believe with others, I get nothing but complaining. I wonder if someday, instead of complaining, someone will ask, “What is it we are to repent of?”

not likely. not even when 1/3 of mankind is killed or dies. they just don't care.

well, a few care. the remnant. they seek Yhwh , turning around from their sin to follow Him. (i.e. repent).

notice in society/tv/internet how many people broadcast their sinful way of life and promote it! ....... the world is fallen.

Thank you for a well-considered reply.

Thank you for a well-considered reply.

please let me know what makes it "well-considered" vs any other kind ? I just spoke as Yhwh has said to speak, as I have learned from Him for 40 years now (intermittently it seems, btw - some fallow years),
as a child repeating what Father says.

To me, it is just barely the milk of the Word, and to me it seems most people don't ever get that far !

You don't get complaining on these forums but what you do get is correction because you've been proven wrong. Heaven is not repentance. That is a serious error on your part.

It seemed well-considered when I read it.

Have you tried repenting?

It is totally true that no one enjoys heaven, nor any forgiveness of sin, without repenting. and if they repent (if while they are still able to - not like esau who sought to repent and could not, nor like judas the betrayer who could not repent either) according to Scripture they then enjoy forgiveness of their sin AND HEAVEN.

it is the same, or almost....... perhaps a 'corresponding' happening may be a better way of saying it.

and the complaining everywhere is from people who don't repent and who don't enjoy heaven today.

Heaven is not repentance.

Not necessarily.
Does the Holy Spirit that lives in us not (come from) heaven.
Although we are not in heaven (in the afterlife) right now,
but we do however share in his anointing/grace/spirit/glory that comes (from) heaven.
Hi Free.

Heaven is not repentance.

even if you're right, in your view, that is still not an answer. it is pertinent because if you have not repented (as I and he have as required) then you cannot even see the kingdom of heaven.

That is not the topic. That heaven is not repentance directly addresses an error in the OP.

but that 's only your view of it. Heaven is repentance is true in other peoples views and lives ---- they rejoice because they repented and experience heaven thus, while others do not repent and have no experience of heaven. they go hand in hand and english grammer is a poor excuse for trying to reject it.

No, that's the biblical view.

Look at other threads started by the same user. He uses Scripture to try to show that heaven is actually repentance. But heaven is a place and repentance is one of the necessary things to enter. They are not one and the same.

Hi Free.
Hello. :) I think my response to Jeff should answer your post.

:) .

Oh, I agree with you in this (repentance is necessary action to enter heaven),
and I haven't seen much if any of his other threads,
so I don't know if english is his first language or not, and if it is possible (love hopes so, hopes for the best) that he is just having a terrible time in and of himself because of something we are not seeing.) he may be off the wall but I don't like to think so unless he proves it himself, or maybe even clears himself up ?

Repentance is the baptism of John, paradoxically the best result that man can achieve, and required prior to the baptism of the Holy Spirit, which opens us up to what God can achieve. Repentance is wonderful, but it is unworthy to tie the shoelaces of Heaven.:twocents

Elijah, don't you think heaven is also a place where believers that have repented spend eternity? If not then what happens after death?
