hi, anyone who never offended anyone, never did anyone any good.

i notice on this forum that you have supported ads, i don't have a problem with that.
i have to say though i do have a problem with the fact that some of those ads are promoting buddism and other false idols, i thought this was a christian forum?

Do not fear such things, as undead, lower planar denizens, cults devoted to suffering, or anything like that; because me and my companions here on these forums condemn such things and send such abominations to the lord back to the ground of sorrow and despair. Buddism though is a religion devoted to good principles and ethics, even if both of us choose not to believe in the religion. It is not such a false idol, in my opinion, but everyone is entitled my friend.

So with that, I will also welcome you to the Christian forums :)

thnx

thnx 4 the welcome,

Of course i stand firm in my faith, im just thinking of those coming here for answers.... seeing those links , not good in my opinion....i believe budda is a false idol, he is worshipped is he not?
im happy to be here, ive read some very interesting stuff here.

If you can tolerate me (as you are), then I doubt your devotion to your faith will ever shatter. :)

Welcome noway,

Buddhism is just one of man's religions that satan deceives with. Keep preaching the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ, grow in the Word, and pray unceasingly.

Those look like Google ads. I suspect that these are ads Google thinks are relevant to this website.

yep

They are google ads yes, and i know the moderators have no control over them, they are 'targeted ads' so whatever the content of a site is. google provide ads that are meant to 'relate' to the content, personally if my website on occasion showed ads promoting 'buddism or any other 'false religion, then i would 'sacrifice' the revenue i might generate from those ads.

Jesus sacrificed All for us, so i really dont see why we cant 'sacrifice a little pocket money to stay 'faithfull' to Him.

I have a Christian website myself and i choose not to use google ads there.
simply because i dont want my site to be 'compromised'or to compromise my own faith or the authenticity of that faith.
and to say that there is no power in the ads of false religion i believe is a 'naive' statement. It all depends wether you have on the armour of God! eph;6

I dont post all this because im superspiritual or legalistic in any way, i post it because we have a jealous God, we must not put any other God or 'god' before him. or in this instance along side His name...

I agree that it is better not to have ads contrary to Christianity. But, as long as they are not obscene, I think they're tolerable, especially if the host of this forum thinks they're necessary to help with costs. Most of the Google ads are okay. I'm almost tempted to tell you to click on those non-Christian ads to get them to help pay for God's work.

It's commendable for you to run a website that you pay for out of your own pocket.

Yup. I guess while this forum seems to be opened for everyone with focus on Christianity, we should stand firm to our faith even more and bring God's love and grace.

I am just afraid what if there is someone who visits this forum tries to find a solution but he finds none (maybe because no post talks about it)? But later he finds an ads that display something that actually 'seems' to give him the solution, but it does not lead him to understand about God's love. (I guess prayers are needed to cover this, huh?) :)

Anyway, that's just my 2 cents. I am a newbie here and I certainly have noticed encouraging posts. :)
