Conquer evil

Everywhere good is, evil is right there at door. Its like a bad smell that never leaves. Another day, another struggle.

Of course, it's always easier said than done. To overcome means to conquer. Let us conquer evil by doing good. Starts with changing one negative thought at a time. Just food for thought.

I was kind of hoping for a kill them all, let God sort them out type of thing, but I can see how your message may be more in Tune with a good Christian Attitude.

Blessings.

The best thing is, that doing good actually might conquer evil. The thing I've noticed is when there's someone against you, and you are good to them, often they stop being against you. Goes back to the examples Jesus gives when wronged.

Brother I think the passages of scripture leading to what you posted have the answer.

Romans 12:17-21 (NASB)
17 Never pay back evil for evil to anyone. [a]Respect what is right in the sight of all men. 18 If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men. 19 Never take your own revenge, beloved, but [b]leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. 20 “But if your enemy is hungry, feed him, and if he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

"The battles seem endless but the war is already won".

Revelation 12:11 (NASB)
11 And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even [a]when faced with death.

I believe that submitting to our weakness and inability knowing short He who lives with in we will be defeated.

For greater is He who is in me than He who is in this world. 1 John 4:4
Proverbs 3:5-6 (NASB)
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding.
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him
,
And He will make your paths straight.
