My son has some VHS train tapes that we no longer have anything to play them on.He loves the tapes.Is it possible to convert them to something to play on the computer?Maybe DVD's?Is it legal to do that?Do you know about how much it costs to have that done?Where do you take them to have this done?

Do a google search. There are a lot of conversion services.
You mean you have to do it yourself?

No, take your VHS tapes or other old media to costco. They have a great service where they convert it to DVD for you.
