Lou "the toe" Groza. Kicked for the Cleveland Browns.

Coco Crisp. Currently plays for the Cleveland Indians. I'm glad his parents last name wasn't "Pebbles." :

I've always like "Edge" for Edgerrin James.

Although I didn't like Rodman's shananigans, I think "The Worm" fits him well.

Jerry Rice has a few of them, I like "Goat" (greatest of all time).

I know that : That's why I said that i'm glad that his parents last name was not Pepples, because then they may have named him "Fruity". Talk about "the boy named Sue" syndrome. :-D

There is a current NFL player called "Tank" Williams. I'm not sure if that's a real name or a nick name. But very cool. Taken, I believe, from the movie "Every which way but loose."

Dennis "Oil Can" Boyde, making a comeback. That has got to be one of the all time great names.
