“Victory over all the circumstances of life comes not by might, nor by power, but by a practical confidence in God and by allowing His spirit to dwell in our hearts and control our actions and emotions… Where does the power come from, to see the race to the end? It comes from within. Jesus said, “Behold, the kingdom of God is within you. If with all your hearts, you shall ever seek Me, you shall ever surely find Me.” If you commit yourself to the love of Christ, then that is how you run the straight race.

The above is excerpted from writings of the Scottish missionary to China, and Olympic runner, Eric Liddell. Everything I know about this devout Christian leads me to believe he submitted himself completely to living his whole life, every act public and private, coram deo...living in the presence of, under the authority of, and to the honor and glory of God.

1 Corinthians 10:31
"Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God"

Yes, and there are other individuals , some well known, some not so well known, who lived such a life of (true) faith.
So, why don't more people in the untied states do so ?
just found these truths and
hints here : (from the examples of corinthians, who didn't get past the milk, and why, VS the ephesians, who did get past the milk to the fuller life in Christ Jesus)
