It's whining and crying time.
I live off of a fixed income.
A retired, disabled income.
I got no raise this year.
They said the cost of living didn't change.

So I get my 6 month car insurance and it went up.
My health insurance outside the VA went up.
This is the year I get termite treatment on my house ( better have it in my neighborhood).
I almost dropped it because it went up $47.00.
I'll drop it next year.

Now the stupid cable bill.
Brighthouse.
They have no competition here accept the satellite companies.
They go up one month on the bill.
Then this month the taxes and fees go up another.$4.65 a month.

The gas prices went from $1.61 up to $2.00 in one week.

Do you mine, can I cry on your shoulder?

Cost of living doesnt go up, there privatly owned companys so they can charge what they like. If it goes up it goes up. If a companys costs goes up they expect there customers to pay for it so they can continue to profit hard and relax in the sun on there super boat in the bahamas.

I'm on a fixed income through SSD and there has been no cost of living raise in two years, but thank God my husband is younger than me and has many years ahead of him before he can retire. We live pay day to pay day and barely make our bills, but the important thing is to try not to live above your means as that is where you get in trouble.
