Matthew 7: 21-23,
21) “Not everyone who calls me ‘Lord, Lord’ will enter the Kingdom of heaven, but only those who do what my father in heaven wants them to do. When the Judgement Day comes, many will say to me, “Lord, Lord, in your name we spoke God’s message, by your name we drove out many demons and performed miracles.â€Â

23) Then I will say to them, I never knew you. Get away from me, you wicked people!’â€Â

Doesn’t this seem a little strange? We can be good people and have the chance of everlasting life removed from us, be condemned, and all because of the word “knew.†Think of all the other words that He could have said. It would have been more appropriate for Him to say that because of our sins, apostasy, religion, prayer, faith, love, grace, work, or a combination of these, or a lack thereof, we will not have eternal life. This is most troubling and could be one of the most significant things Christ has said. This word “knew†seems out of place or at least out of context.

This is one question that must be asked.

How will He know you? or How will He know us?

This is one question that must be asked.

How will He know you? or How will He know us?

we will be known by our fruits,

Mat 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Mat 7:17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
Mat 7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Mat 7:19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Mat 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

no the question must be asked, what are good fruits?

not many people like to address this question because the answer involves work, and then they say "we are saved by faith alone" or "works won't save you", thus making works sound like something evil,

the sower came sowing seed, the seed that fell on good soil are those who hear the word and act on it, therefore bringing forth good fruit, and good fruit has seed in itself ready to be sown again,

I never knew you, get away from me, is a way of letting you start over if you follow the directions outlined in the bible instead of the way man has travelled. Its an opportunity for rebirth with no memory of the past transgressions. Its a forgiveness of sins and a new life in a new world with a new simple operating system. Choose wisely, only the penitent man shall pass, walk in the footsteps of Jehovah as they say in the movies. And don't forget the leap of faith that gets you started.

It makes you wonder doesn't it? Jesus said will I even find faith on the earth when I come. He also said that, If the righteous scarcely make it where will the sinners and ungodly stand. Also said that even the very elect will be deceived. I guess it is time to get down to business.

It is amazing how lost the people of this world are. With all the religious leaders and brilliant people this is what we end up with. The systems of this world cannot afford to do the right things but they have plenty of funds to do the wrong things. I think cleaning up after yourself is a standard thing and this world just sweeps the problem under a pile of dirt for someone else to deal with.

Jake- Sorry and no offense but I have no clue what you are talking about. You seem alittle far out to me. Can I ask what religion are you?

Von,

I speak a language that many don't understand but it is in line with the bible. I don't claim a religion because that is a division and I am for unity. I take no ones side and everyones side at the same time. I believe what the bible says, because it was taught to me as a child and I am convinced that it is true. My language is practice what you preach not what you do. I do and say what others cannot, and all I use is the simple systems recommended in the bible, logic and simple systems. I am and always have been in a world of my own, out side the box that you live in.
