Bible Study Could this be Paul?

I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:


Before you answer consider these verses.

2 Timothy 1:15
This thou knowest, that all they which are in Asia be turned away from me; of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes.


2 Corinthians 1:8
For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life:




Also consider that when picking Judas' replacement, they did not pick Paul. Acts 1:18-24



Lastly, look at the differene in the gospel message between Pauls works and those of James, Peter and John. These three are all in agreement with what Christ has to say to the churches in Asia in Revelation 2 & 3.

Saul, who later became Paul, was murdering Christians when they were choosing Judas replacement.

The requirement was that who ever they chose had to have been with Christ even at his death. This is why Pauls message of salvation is so different than the rest. None of the others spoke like this either. 1 Corinthians 4:16-17 and 1 Corinthians 11:1-2. How many other men called themselves apostles let alone worked with the churches of Asia? It can't be but a few if only Paul.
