Worth researching medical advice sites - certainly, alcohol has more harmful FX on growing bodies/minds than on adults, & there has been much concern @ liver disease, etc, in younger & younger folk

Other medical FX too - not least chronic obesity shortening life expectancy

As for dramatic increases in violent crime over the past few years, it's worth researching hospital admissions & crime statistics too
