Daily Verse

MANY BELIEVERS, LIKE THE ISRAELITES, ARE WANDERING AROUND IN A WILDERNESS OF DEFEAT BECAUSE THERE'S AN ENEMY IN THE PROMISED LAND. THEY'RE BEING ROBBED OF THEIR RIGHTFUL INHERITANCE BECAUSE THEY'RE AFRAID TO FIGHT HIM.

Affirmations

I AM NO LONGER GOING TO SIT IN THE WILDERNESS WHERE THE DEVIL STEALS THE BLESSINGS OF GOD OUT FROM UNDER ME.

I HAVE GOD'S PERMISSION AND HIS POWER AND HIS ABILITY TO TAKE THE LAND. I GET VIOLENT ENOUGH TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT ......TODAY!

Matthew 11:12 - From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and violent take it by force.

Affirmations

I DON'T SIT AROUND WAITING FOR GOD TO PRODUCE MY HARVEST. I FIND PRECIOUS PROMISES FROM THE WORD OF GOD AND PLANT THEM IN MY HEART AND IN MY LIFE.

I START WATCHING OVER MY LAND (MY HEART AND MY MIND) TO KEEP IT MOIST, WATERED WITH THE WORD, AND FREE FROM WEEDS (UNFORGIVENESS, DOUBT, FEAR, AND DISCOURAGEMENT).

2 Peter 1:4 - Whereby are given unto us exeeding great and precious promises: that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Luke 8:23-25 - But as they sailed He fell asleep. And they came to Him, and awoke Him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then He arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm. And He said unto them, "Where is your faith?"

EVEN AFTER THE DISCIPLES GOT THEIR ANSWER TO PRAYER (A STILLED STORM), JESUS ASKED THEM ABOUT THEIR UNBELIEF. FOR MOST OF US AN ANSWER TO PRAYER IS THE REWARD FOR OUR GREAT FAITH. IN THIS CASE THEY GOT THE ANSWER BUT WERE SAID TO BE SMALL IN FAITH.
HE EXPECTED THEM TO EXERCISE THE AUTHORITY HE HAD GIVEN THEM TO QUIET THE SEAS THEMSELVES. INSTEAD THEY ASKED HIM TO DO IT. WE OFTEN PRAY IN THE PLACE OF RISKY OBEDIENCE.

Romans 10:8 - The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach.
Observation

THE WORD OF GOD IN MY MOUTH IS SPOKEN INTO MY HEART.
I CAN HEAR ABOUT THE WORD. I CAN LEARN ABOUT THE WORD. I CAN REJOICE OVER THE WORD. BUT UNTIL I SPEAK THE WORD, IT HAS NOT REACHED ITS HIGHEST FORM.

John 6:63 - It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Affirmation

THE WORDS I SPEAK - IF THEY ARE WORDS OF LIFE - GIVE LIFE, QUICKEN, MAKE ALIVE.

1 John 2:17,18 - The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever. Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come.

RELIGION IDOLIZES CONCEPTS AND AVOIDS PERSONAL EXPERIENCE. IT IS THE ANTICHRIST SPIRIT THAT HAS GIVEN RISE TO RELIGIOUS SPIRITS. BEING LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT IS AN ONGOING GOD ENCOUNTER. A RELIGIOUS SPIRIT IS A DEMONIC PRESENCE THAT WORKS TO GET US TO SUBSTITUTE BEING LED BY OUR INTELLECT INSTEAD OF THE SPIRIT OF GOD.

Galatians 5:25 - If the Spirit is the source of our life, let the Spirit also direct our course.

John 4:24 - God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.

Exodus 34:14 - You shall not worship any other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.

THE LORD DID NOT SAY HE WAS, AT TIMES, JEALOUS; HE SAID HIS NAME, WHICH REVEALS HIS NATURE, IS JEALOUS. RIGHT NEXT TO HIS NAME "I AM" IS HIS NAME "JEALOUS".
HIS JEALOUSY FOR US IS PERFECT. IT IS NOT THE SAME AS HUMAN JEALOUSY: PETTY, POSSESSIVE AND INSECURE. HIS JEALOUSY IS BASED UPON HIS PURE LOVE FOR US AND HIS DESIRE TO BLESS US AND FULFILL OUR LIVES IN HIM. HIS LOVE IS NOT SOME ETHEREAL PRINCIPLE OF "HIGHER COSMIC CONSCIOUSNESS." HIS LOVE IS FOCUSED UPON US, ACTUALLY JEALOUS FOR US AS INDIVIDUALS.

Observation

JESUS KNOWS MY NAME. JESUS LOVES ME PERSONALLY. JESUS GAVE ALL FOR ME. JESUS DESERVES ALL FROM ME.

James 4:5 - Or do you suppose it is vain that the scripture says, "He yearns jealously over the Spirit which He has made to dwell in us."

John 10:3 - To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice; and He calleth His own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.

Matthew 13:44 - The Kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure a man discovered in a field. In his excitement, he sold everything he owned to get enough money to buy the field - and get the treasure, too!

WHAT IS THIS "GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM"? IT IS THE WHOLE MESSAGE OF JESUS CHRIST. IT IS MORE DEMANDING, MORE FULFILLING, AND MORE HOLY AND MORE POWERFUL THAN THE "GOSPEL" OF TYPICAL AMERICAN CHRISTIANITY.
ACCORDING TO JESUS, WHEN ANYONE FINDS THE KINGDOM OF GOD, "FOR JOY OVER IT HE GOES AND SELLS ALL". ONCE FOUND, IT MUST BE SOUGHT FIRST EVEN BEFORE NECESSARY FOOD AND CLOTHING; AND IT IS SUCH A PRICELESS TREASURE THAT ONE SHOULD RATHER SUFFER THE LOSS OF A HAND OR EYE THAN LOSE THE KINGDOM.

Mark 9:43,47 - And if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off; it is better for you to enter life maimed than with two hands to go to hell. And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out; it is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown into hell.

Titus 3:9 - Don't get involved in arguing over unanswerable questions and controversial theological ideas; keep out of arguments and quarrels about obedience to Jewish laws, for this kind of thing isn't worthwhile; it only does harm.

REVELATION THAT DOESN'T LEAD TO A GOD ENCOUNTER ONLY SERVES TO MAKE ME MORE RELIGIOUS. UNLESS SCRIPTURE LEADS ME TO HIM, I ONLY BECOME BETTER EQUIPPED TO DEBATE WITH THOSE WHO DISAGREE WITH MY WAY OF THINKING.

1 Samuel 17:38,39 - And Saul armed David with his armor, and he put an helmet of brass upon his head; also he armed him with a coat of mail (armor made of metal plates) and David girded his sword upon his armor, and he tried to go but could not, for he was not used to it. And David said unto Saul, I cannot go with these; for I have not proved them. And David put them off him.

DAVID WAS SAYING, "I CAN'T USE THESE THINGS; I HAVEN'T PROVED THEM."

HOW MAY TIMES IN SPIRITUAL BATTLE DO WE TRY TO USE EVERYTHING WE CAN GET OUR HANDS ON - EXCEPT THE WORD OF GOD? WE TRY TO FIND ANSWERS IN OUR OWN STRENGTH. WE TRY TO SOLICIT HELP FROM OTHERS OR TRY TO WORK IT OUT OURSELVES. IT SEEMS WE'RE AFRAID TO TRUST THE WORD OF GOD, AND IT'S THE GREATEST WEAPON WE COULD EVER HAVE.

IN THE MIDST OF WORLDLINESS, LUKEWARMNESS AND OUTRIGHT DECEPTIONS, THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM IS THE MESSAGE JESUS SAID WOULD BE PROCLAIMED IN THE LAST DAYS. AND IF WE ARE LISTENING TO SOMETHING THAT DOES NOT CENTER US FIRMLY UPON THE PATH INTO GOD'S KINGDOM, IF WE ARE NOT BECOMING LIKE JESUS IN HOLINESS AND POWER, WE ARE BEING MISLED, AND THAT MISLEADING KNOWLEDGE IS AN IDOL.

2 Timothy 3:5 - Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass.
The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:

25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which

ALL FLESH is GRASS! amazing...we don't think of 'grass' as being a symbol of 'flesh'!

THE PRIDE THAT COMES FROM MERE BIBLE KNOWLEDGE IS DIVISIVE. IT CREATES AN APPETITE FOR ONE'S OWN OPINION. THOSE TRAINED WITHOUT A REVELATION THAT TAKES US TO HIM ARE TRAINED TO SPEAK FROM THEMSELVES, FOR THEIR OWN GLORY. THIS DRIVE FOR KNOWLEDGE WITHOUT AN ENCOUNTER WITH GOD WARS AGAINST TRUE RIGHTEOUSNESS.

1 Cor 8:2-3
2 If anyone supposes that he knows anything, he has not yet known as he ought to know;
3 but if anyone loves God, he is known by Him. NASU

These texts give similar meaning to understand the difference between the true and the false!
 
Hebrews 11:6 - But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

ALL FEAR IS ROOTED IN THE NOTION THAT GOD'S PROMISES WON'T COME TO PASS. FEAR OF POVERTY IS REALLY FEAR THAT PHILIPPIANS 4:19 (CONCERNING GOD PROVIDING ALL MY NEEDS) WON'T WORK. FEAR OF SICKNESS IS REALLY THE FEAR THAT 1PETER 2:24 (CONCERNING GOD'S PROMISE TO HEAL ME) WON'T WORK.

Observation

I KNOW THAT GOD IS MOTIVATED BY MY FAITH AND NOT MY FEARS.

AS I HEAR GOD'S WORD AND RECEIVE IT, FAITH WILL COME.

LIKEWISE IF I LISTEN TO AND RECEIVE SATAN'S WORD'S, FEAR WILL BE AMPLIFIED IN MY LIFE.

SINCE I HAVE A CHOICE - I CHOOSE FAITH!

Some verses are so wonderful to comprehend...I need not say more!
 
Isa 57:1-2
1 The righteous perish, and no one ponders it in his heart;
devout men are taken away, and no one understands
that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil.
2 Those who walk uprightly enter into peace;
they find rest as they lie in death. NIV

As I advance in the latter years of life, these thoughts give me consolation.
