During the Christian dispensation the great enemy of man's happiness has made the Sabbath of the fourth commandment an object of special attack.

Satan says, "I will work at cross purposes with God.
I will empower my followers to set aside God's memorial, the seventh-day Sabbath. (Daniel 7:25....'think to change times and laws')

Thus I will show the world that the day sanctified and blessed by God has been changed.(Daniel 7:25....'think to change times an laws')
That day shall not live in the minds of the people.
I will obliterate the memory of it.
I will place in its stead a day that does not bear the credentials of God, a day that cannot be a sign between God and His people....Sunday ?

I will lead those who accept this day (Sunday) to place upon it the sanctity that God placed upon the seventh day."

The Sabbath the Great Point at Issue

In the warfare to be waged in the last days there will be united, in opposition to God's people, all the corrupt powers that have apostatized from allegiance to the law of Jehovah.

That seems a little deep for most here, huh? :wink:
Lets try this one for who most reformers believed when they studied the Word, for whom the antichrist was at least.

1. It was to arise among the ten divisions of the Roman Empire (Daniel 7:8).

2. It would destroy three of the ten kingdoms (Daniel 7:8). The Roman power destroyed the Heruli in A.D. 493, (2) the Vandals in A.D. 534, (3) the Ostrogoths around A.D. 538. The other seven are, still, with us today - Germany, France, England, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Switzerland.

3. It would speak great words against the Most High ( Daniel 7:25; Revelation 13:6). "The Pope is of so great dignity and so exalted, that he is not a mere man, but as it were God and the vicar of God." - P.F.L. Ferraris, Ecclesiastical Dictionary, art. On The Pope.

4. It would wear out the saints (Daniel 7:25; Revelation 13:7). "That the Church of Rome has shed more innocent blood than any other institution that has ever existed among mankind, will be questioned by no Protestant who has a competent knowledge of history..." - William Edward Hartpole Lecky, History of the Rise and Influence of the Spirit of Rationalism in Europe, vol.2 (London:Longmans, Green and Company,1904). P.32.

5. It would be guilty of blasphemy (Revelation 13:6; Daniel 7:25). The church claims, that, the Pope is God and has the power to forgive sin. when Jesus made these claims, the Jews accused Him of blasphemy. The church, also, claims Mary is co-Mediator and co-Redeemer, that the priests "create God" in the Eucharist, etc.

6. It would attempt to change times and divine law ( Dan 7:25). The Ten Commandments, were written with the very finger of God, yet, the Catholic Church claimed the authority to delete the 2nd (graven images) and split the last, to come up with ten. It, also, "changed" the day of worship and rest from the seventh day (instituted by God at Creation), to the first day of the week (at The Council of Laodicea, 364 A.D.) - "thinking to change times and law" - no man/institution can change God's law.

7. It would exercise power over all kindreds, tongues and nations (Revelation 13:7). The nations of the world send ambassadors to this Roman church/state!

8. The Dragon would give his power, seat and great authority to this beast (Revelation 13:2). The Caesars of the Roman Empire gave their power, seat and authority to the Bishop of Rome. The official title of the Papacy - Vicarius Filii Dei, (which means, Vicar of the Son of God) adds up to 666 in Latin, Greek and Hebrew (remember, it's the number of his name).

9. It was to continue in world domination for 1260 years (Rev 13:5; Dan 7:25). 42 months x 30 days to the Bible month = 1260 days or years (Ezekiel 4:6). After defeating the Ostrogoths, she reigned until 1798 A.D.

10. It would receive a mortal wound (Revelation 13:3). On February 10, 1798, Napoleon's general, Berthier, entered Rome and took Pope Pius V1 captive (Revelation 13:10). Napoleon decreed, that, at the death of the Pope (in August, 1799), the Papacy would end. "Half Europe thought...that without the Pope, the Papacy was dead."

11. It would amaze the whole world, for it's deadly wound would be healed (Revelation 13:3). In August, 1929, in a letter written by the Pope in Current History magazine, the Pope said, "...EFFORTS HAVE BEEN MADE TO HEAL THE WOUND." - p.847.

From the very beginning of Mussolini's dictatorship, both the church and the stated determined to settle the Roman question. On February 11, 1929, a concordat was signed, thus restoring the place of the Papacy, and as The S.F. Chronicle Newspaper stated, healed the wound.

The Bible tells us who The Antichrist is. The Reformers: Luther, Calvin, Wesley, Wycliffe, Knox, King James, Tyndale, Melanchthon and Zwingli studied the Scripture, came to this same conclusion and were persecuted by the church. The time is short. It is essential, that, our doctrine come from the Word of God, alone (sola scritura), for it is the only sure foundation and we are headed for difficult times.

In short what are you getting at?

Dan 7:25 is a future event....

Dan 7:25 And he shall speak [great] words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

This is not a Christian thing...it is Jewish all the way, and it fits with Jewish eschatalogy. When the False Messiah sits in the tribulation temple (the temple rebuilt), he will attempt to change the feast days and Mosaic Law (what laws do Christians have), which will be initiated again in the future.

This event is documented in Jewish eschatology. The claim is that the False Messiah will sit in the Temple and meet with the Jewish elders proclaiming himself to be God (or the Messiah).

All in my opinion.

If you LOVE ME, Christ says, 'KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS.' Is just for the Jews?? (some added emphasis)
I had one 'apostate' (ex/Sabbath 'professed' keeper) tell me, for one to keep the Sabbath because they Love Christ, was a lie. Who do you, think is that person's master?? See Genesis 4:7 for one that is not Jewish!

It seems that since I was a young'in, the devil has had every 'lie' jump up out of the woodwork of professed Christianity! (Rev. 17:5) Yet, it all boils down to the GodHead's Royal Universal Covenant, the tables of stone that Christ Himself wrote! (Isaiah. 8:20) The VERY 'EPISTLE' of the GodHeads Character OF LOVE!. (see 2 Cor. 3:3) This 'LETTER OF CHRIST' the devil hates with his worst of devilish passion. (*LAWBREAKING!* See 1 John 3:4 for the Jewish definition, huh?)

And being a covering cherub before his heavenly rebellion, he knows that all that he needs to do to succeed to have a soul lost, is to have him or her to reject in 'full knowledge' [anyone of the ten commandments.] James 2:8-12 & verse 10 is the New Covenant Inspiration of this documented fact!

In order for a sin to be committed, in order for Lucifer (satan) to fall, in order for Adam & Eve to sin, in order for Cain to become an apostate, (plus others) they needed to break the Royal law of the Universe!
The Inspired Word of Christ states very CLEARLY that, "Whosoever committeth sin trangresseth also the law: [FOR SIN *IS THE TRANSGRESSION OF THE LAW." It does not take much of.. 'spiritually things are spiritually discerned light, to understand what the devil & his Desiree's attack, huh?

It is the 'Law of God' that they [all hate!] From satan on. See Gen. 4:7 for the first James 1:15 human that 'finished' his sin against the Holy Ghost. He became a true 'finished' apostate. Immediately, the devil took over his service & Cain had a new DESIRE!

Yet, how did Cain sin? If there was not a Universal Royal Law? (*check Rev. 11:19 & Rev. 22:8-9) Some even say the law of the GodHead is Jewish! And as satan claims, that there is no law, or that it was Jewish, or 'the whole' of his lies?', it doesn't take much insight to know where such stuff comes from. Same history as seen in heavens rebellion, huh? See Ecclesiastes 1:9-10 & Ecclesiastes 3:15!! (If one believes any of the Word of Christ?) A 'liar from the beginning, and the father of it', Christ stated!

Can one believe the devil & 'his helpers' lies? Seems that they are being listened to, too much! Notice that not only does Christ's Word define what sin is, but the Holy Spirit inspired Paul to say this.. '[WHERE NO LAW IS, THERE IS NO TRANSGRESSION]'. See Romans 4:15.

Well, it won't be long now before these ones will all be 'as though they never were'. Obadiah 1:16

"And he shall speak ..." means after when? God tells us if we can believe His 'complete Word'. Matthew 4:4 & 2 Timothy 3:16. The Word of God IS IMMORTAL from Eternity, and surely from 'evil' starting? The 'he' is the devil himself, and he was active from heavens rebellion on all the way through to his END!

There is no way to understand Matthew 24:14 with a [one time application]. Christ is either the WORD or he is a counterfeit. It is DOCUMENTED by Christ that .. "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; [AND THEN SHALL THE END COME.]" Did it? Why not? Did Christ lie? When did Christ say that the end would come pertaining to His then prophecy remark? (AD 33 by some commentators)

Well, one can agree surely that Saul (Paul) was not on the scene yet anyway??
But, with Christ's prophecy surely believed by Paul & the Gentile converts, they ALL would have made shipwreck if they had not understood the Matthew 24:14 TRUTH to have at least a [two/time] requirement to be GENUINE EVERLASTING GOSPEL!! Again Ecclesiastes 1:9-10 & Ecclesiastes 3:15 (something like Adventist's 1844)

Romans 10:17-18 fulfilled [Christ's DOCUMENTED Word] of Ecclesiastes verses to the very letter!

And Victor??? Who is he? Since when does his remarks (posts) bear Truth?? But he does need to understand that he is 'teaching' stuff for others to be persuaded by perhaps?? You are agreeing with him, right?

Hay friend, if you do not believe Christ's Word in the Eccl. verses, what would you call what happened in Israel? They STAYED PUT! Yet the 'SHAKING' or 'FALLING AWAY' SEPARATED THE WHEAT [FROM] THE TARES!! Israel became D-E-S-O-L-A-T-E of Christ! Matthew 23:38 Now who took oven at the ships helm??? Compare Revelation 3:9 again for the [second repeat documented ending].

Never mind on that above paragraph. For you'ins are not the ones of 1 Peter 4:17 anyhow. For it is referring to the Virgin 'House of God'. (fold)

You have to remember John.....if people believe one error, such as Sunday worship services, they will probably believe other errors as well.

It has to do with the Holy Spirit. Peter convinced the group there, that this Acts 2:16-18 Early Rain time was the first prophecy (at least) of Joel 2:28-32. Yet, but few choose Christ. And it seems that most here believe as did they who were of the masses. That it was already a done deal. OSAS with their sins already buried in the depth of the sea. You know, offered a lamb sacrifice & we have Abraham as our father?

Yet, the rest of the Truth comes in Acts 3:19 for when the heavenly record books Blotted out sin, not ones 1/2 gospel which is no gospel. Inspiration says: "REPENT ye and be [CONVERTED], that [YOUR SINS MAY BE BLOTTED OUT, WHEN THE *TIMES OF REFRESHING SHALL COME] from the PRESENCE OF THE LORD." (see the K.J.)

And God's Blessed Sanctified & Set Aside Holy Day.. FOR OUR HOLY USE?? That too, is one for the ACCURATE HEAVENLY RECORD BOOKS RECORDINGS! Ecclesiastes 12:13-14.
"Let us hear the CONCLUSION OF THE WHOLE MATTER: Fear GOD AND KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS FOR THIS IS THE *WHOLE DUTY OF MAN.

And yes: The Everlasting Gospel is the WORD of GOD, which includes Daniel! All of it! The Book of Daniel 7:9-11 they also say is [only] future?? yet it must be that these record books must again be activated in Judgement then, huh? :wink: "THE JUDGEMENT WAS SET, AND THE BOOKS WERE OPENED"!

And the D-E-A-D of Revelation 20:12 are dead & standing [only] by the accurate heavenly record books, and these are Judged by BOOKS" These are on which side of the cross? Are only the ones who died after Christ came? You know Daniel 7 is all future!!

And James 2:8-12 is the Eternal Royal UNIVERSAL COVENANT that is used as the "STANDARD OF HIS CREATED ONES JUDGEMENT."

See Revelation 13 about the 2 Beasts

The Antichrist Beast is the political leader & the False Prophet is the religious head of the false apostate superchurch, who 'brings to life the image of the 1st beast & makese all the world worship him

2 Thessalonians 2 says that the coming of the Lawless 1 (Antichrist Beast) will be with satanic miracles to deceive even the elect/chosen ones if possible

Daniel 11 prophesies the 'abomination of desolation' that would end the temple sacrifices

Very quickly, the abominable blasphemy of the Dome of the Rock must be demolished & the Temple rebuilt, as Messiah, on His return, re-enters Jerusalem by the Temple East Gate, per Zechariah 14

Anti/Christ has been working since Lucifer 'finished' his transgression in heaven! Take note on 1 John 3:4 That shows the Eternity of the Godhead's Covenant!! Then he started again on earth with mankind! Cain was his first MATURE convert. Revelation is the last workings of this anti/Christ. Yet, he was 'already at work' when Israel became desolate of Christ in Matthew 23:38! (who do you think had Christ killed :roll: ) & even already perhaps working through another (2 Thessalonians 2:7) denomination as Paul stated. (satan needed Caesar Rome to crucify Christ & Israel stated that they had no king but Caesar)

But there is no doubt what fold, & even now plural of fold, as seen in Revelation 17:5. MOTHER AND DAUGHTER OF HARLOTS ARE THE ABOMINATION OF THE EARTH, you can check the K.J. to see if I might have added to many caps, ok? Hay, If these ones are as the Word of God states, & in caps, how can any Born Again Christian call them Christians denominations??? [[[And we are not suggesting that there are not 'ignorant Christians' in these yoked memberships! See John 10:16 & Revelation 18:4]]]

Yet, this is the biggest fold that fits Daniel 7:25.
The TRUE ANTICHRIST CULT must have complete authority!! Notice his DOCUMENTED work. "All dogmatic decrees of [the Pope], made with or without his general council, ARE INFALLIBLE ... Once made, no pope or council can reverse them ... This IS THE CATHOLIC PRINCIPLE, that the CHURCH CANNOT ERR IN FAITH." --The Catholic World, pgs. 422-423.

OK: That is the first [TOP] priority. 's'atan has himself in charge of a number one human man! See Gen. 4:7's start & Rev. 3:9's ending. This is & ever was satin's antichrist denomination. (and who took over when Christ left Israel of old? See Matt. 23:38 when they BECAME DESOLATE OF CHRIST)

Number two: A CULT ANTICHRIST must have a 'SECOND' book held in high esteem that is opposite to the Bible! In this time frame, It IS THE 'CATECHISM! It even openly changes the Commandments of God! [ANTICHRIST!] See 1 John. 2:4 & Isaiah. 8:20.

Number three: Surely it MUST HAVE A LARGE BROADWAY WORLDWIDE CULT MEMBERSHIP! See Matt. 7 & Rev. 17:5!! To have DAUGHTERS this denomination was here FIRST, huh? Again, the TRUE LEADER of even the Pope, was seen working before the flood in Cain! (Gen. 4:7) Notice again whose his 'DESIRE' Cain now possessed!

A denomination has always been found by satan to 'FORM-or have them become a FOLD' which would do this [FIRST CULT LEADER'S WORK]. See Rev. 2:5. (who would now take over this complete church!?)

Cain killed his brother. Cain was still a professor of worship! He brought an ANTICHRIST SACRIFICE! As does Rome in having Sun. for God's eternal Sabbath Day Covenant! (see Hebrews. 13:20) Rome, also is and was a MURDERER (from the beginning) as is DOCUMENTED in Fox Book of Martyr's. It states that it MIGHT EVEN BE A LOW ESTIMATE, OF UPWARD TO AN HUNDRED AND FIFTY MILLION KILLED BY ROME, OF [CHRISTIAN MARTYRS!!]

Take note: This is satan's church! Look around you today! These LEADERS ARE [OPEN PARTAKERS] of ALL OF THIS EVIL! See Rev. 18:4 again! And in a quote that I posted a some days ago about Pope John Paul 11 suggesting that voodoo believers would not betray their traditional faith by 'converting to Christianity'. ('From the Los Angeles Times' 2/5/93)

CHRISTIANS?? Hardly can a person be [HONEST] calling an CULT ANTICHRIST denomination [CHRISTIAN!] And the Lord's CALL is for the [IGNORANT BABES IN CHRIST THAT HE HAS THERE, TO LEAVE]. Again SEE Revelation 18:4!!

And NOW: We see satan still doing his evil work in suggesting that there is another antichrist?? Wow! what is new, God say's NOTHING!! See Ecclesiastes. 1:9-10 & Ecclesiastes. 3:15. Yet, these ones ARE THE CULT LEADERS 'little' daughter's that are DOING the work of mommy. What is next?? Soon ex/Protestants will do the dirty work of having Caesar do what they can not do OPENLY. The Church cannot err in faith simply because the Church is led by the Holy Spirit. It is the guarantee of Christ, not of man (cf. Matthew 16:18).


Furthermore, we worship on Sunday as the day of the Resurrection of Christ. It is a christological event, not some underhanded attempt to thwart God in any sense.

I see no mention of Peter here. But surely there are not only Catholics, but her daughters as well who would be de/frocked by the MASTERS EVERLASTING GOSPEL TRUTH. And then included also are a large number of what I call 'loose cannons', who will never be subjected to Eternal Required Gospel Organized Unity, it seems? :sad :crying:

And there is no way that Rome ever was a Virgin Fold in the first place! Revelation 2:5.

"And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshiped him. But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man." Acts 10:25-26 Where do you suppose that Peter ever heard such inspiration? Maybe he had a N.T. in his shirt pocket, huh? Forget Matthew 4:4 & 2 Timothy 3:16's ALL, huh? Never!!

Then there is another thought on this. Earthly man, Peter said? How about heavens folk?
"Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren the prophets, (that's something! Them O.T. prophets too, huh?) and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God." Rev. 22:9
Where does one find anything about Worship in inspiration that would be commanded for angels to observe? The Eternal Covenant of Hebrews 13:20 that Lucifer once was a covering Cherub over in heavens Throne Room itself!
Surely 'pope' Lucifer can change the Covenant & be saved by grace, huh? Try Hebrews. 6:6. Just some reverse spiritual science!

Here is one on an maturely serious note. And in part only:
"For if after they have escaped the pollution's of this world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, [the latter end is worse with them than the beginning]. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than after they have known it, to turn from the Holy commandment delivered unto them. But it happened unto them according to the proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the [sow that was washed to her] wallowing in the mire."2 Peter 2:21-22.

One thing is for sure, these ones will not have long to wait to find out what law it is that they will be judged by! James 2: 8-12 And Rome has broken the whole fray of the Godheads Covenant, even in OPEN FLAGRANT PRINT!

"And they shall be as though they had not been." Obadiah 1:16. But this is there own decision that they had made!
If we could just grasp this? Lay in bed & think what it would be like to just not be!? To never, never exist again! Then, maybe 'we' would see just how 'straight talk' needs to be done for these folk while they still have time? Revelation 18:4

Here's what John Gill has to say:

Ver. 25. And he shall speak great words against the most High,.... Or, "at the side of the most High" {p}; setting himself up as a rival, and upon an equality with him; taking the names and characters of holiness, infallibility, yea, of deity itself, unto him; claiming a power to forgive sin, which is peculiar to God; and preferring his own laws, doctrines, and traditions, to the word of God:

and shall wear out the saints of the most High; by his wars with them, and murders and massacres of them; by taking away their lives and their substance; so lessening their numbers, and weakening their strength and power, wear them out, as a garment is wore out, as the word {q} signifies; utterly consume and destroy them, at least in his own apprehensions; which will be the case when the witnesses will be slain, Re 11:8, and especially will wear out their patience, or however thoroughly exercise it. The word {r}, in the Arabic language, signifies "to afflict and handle roughly"; and such usage the saints have met with, more or less, in all ages, from the man of sin.
