I ordered a couple of his books off amazon. Reading one now, God loves you. It seems a good read. I've listened to a few of his sermons on his website, and I seem to recall hearing him on the radio...

...anyway, so far I'm impressed. He's my kinda guy. Seems Bapticostal, as best I can tell. Solidly Biblical. What do you all think? Are there other writers/teachers like him out there?

I haven't listened david jeremiah in a long time.

I recently watched some sermons by david Jeremiah. It was a series on heaven. I thought that he was biblically sound but I haven't heard any of his other sermons than these.

Hey brother. I've heard him once and didn't find anything wrong with what I heard, He is more Baptist in his doctrines than anything else as I see it. My sister lives near his church, and if not attending she likes to listen to him on radio I think it is. I haven't found anything to suggest he is charismatic, or Pentecostal as far as his teaching on the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Maybe he's just old school Baptist, lol. I dunno. I was reading his book on Prophecy and it seemed straight up Pentecostal. Then again...I don't know anything about Baptist theology/doctrine.

I reckon I'm going to have to dig a bit deeper. Thanks. :)

the origins of end times is from a pentacostal church. but don't tell them Baptists that aren't into modern gifts that.

There is nothing wrong with David Jeremiah.
His home church is Shadow Mountain, look that up.
He seems to very much live and preach his statement of faith, which is very sound.
I have listened or watched him many times but I no longer do.
He is very, very Baptist.
And that is personally not to my liking.
But few on the radio and tv can match the quality of sermons by David Jeremiah.
