Have you read the 4 Views on Hell? In there Walvoord who supports the traditional belief has the weakest argument and Clark Pinnock who supports annihilationism has the strongest.

I would also recommend Edward Fudge's 'The Fire that Consumes' and Dr. Samuele Bacchiocchi's 'Immortality or Resurrection?' which obliterates the traditional view.

There are always two sides, Gary. Which one stands up? The 'SDA' view, as you call it is heads above the rest.
