Denominational schools vs Non-denominational schools

Ok, so, 2 or 3 of my aunts/uncles are/were teachers in their respective areas. Most of them teaching at denominational school (e.g Lutheran) as opposed to non-denominational schools (e.g Christian) which got me thinking..

If you were to get to choose either a Christian school or a denominational school, which one would you pick, and why?

I voted Christian because all of the good, Biblical Christian schools I know of in my city are non denominational, rather than an Anglican, Baptist or Catholic school, etc.

That's how it practically works in my area. In theory, depending on the denomination, I wouldn't mind a denominational school.

I voted Christian. My little cousin goes to a nondenominational Christian school and I have to say, he knows stuff from the Bible I didn't know until I was saved because they teach it at his school and the school really gives the kids a good biblical basis and help build a strong foundation for faith. Other schools, like Catholic schools on the other hand, don't really do that, I've noticed. There's a lot about church history, but at the end of the day, it's like a public school with on extra class and uniforms, because they swear just as much and act just as bad. I'm sure it differs in various schools, but that's what I've seen.

Yeah, from what I've observed, from the denominational schools, there's a few Catholic and a couple of Anglican schools near me, and there is an emphasis on Chapel or Mass but not on the Bible and Christian living etc, like, not much Gospel, but lots of traditions. Sure, they promote "good values", but it's a shame they don't promote many "Christian values". :gah

Non-denom FTW!
