Bible Study Depart from Me

Question: Does God need s*xual immoral people in His dwelling place?
Answer: No. He does NOT need there killers and anyone who practices sins..Why? God is HOLY. His nature JUSTICE cannot tolerate our sins...
That is why He commands us: Be HOLY for I am HOLY.

God sent His Son Jesus to live among us and die for us.

Jesus died rejected and alone on the Cross. The Bible, tells us that it was not the nails which were driven through His hands and feet that kept Jesus on the Cross, it was His love for you. He willingly and lovingly took the penalty and punishment for all of our sins. Each and every one of them, regardless how big or how small. Your debt paid in full, by Him. You simply need to believe it and accept His as your God. His salvation is free to everybody. It is available to everybody. But, God has given each of us the free will to make our own choice. We must choose to believe in the Son of God. We must choose to accept Him. It has to be a conscious decision made by each of us at some point in our life.

If, through prayer, we sincerely admit or confess that we have sinned, ask for God’s forgiveness, abandon our sins and accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and His death on the Cross as payment for our sins, regardless of how bad our sins are or how often we have sinned. He promised that all of our sins will be forgiven and completely forgotten to LIVE in RIGHTEOUSNESS...in the renewed life....being DEAD for sin and ALIVE for God.

The Bible tells us every man and woman on Earth is already condemned to Hell. We are told the execution of this judgment will take place after this body dies:
"And as it is appointed for men to die once,
but after this the judgment"
(Hebrews 9:27)

Jesus substituted Himself for you (and me) on the Cross. He suffered and died on the Cross to save you from the darkness of Hell. That is why He is called "Savior."

Some of us might ignore the Son of God for months or years, feeling "too busy" or content. They are not going to obey Him. Some of us never thank Him for the good things He has placed in our life. A few of us are living in casual or sinful disobedience, hoping God will ignore our sins (which He won't). Will they be in the Kingdom of God if they say that they are Christians? The answer may be: NO.

"Not everyone who says to Me (JESUS), 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven ...
Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied
in your Name, cast out demons in Your Name, and done many wonders in Your name?'
And then, I will declare to them
'I never knew you ... depart from Me
you who practice lawlessness ..."
(Matt 7:21-23)

May people think:
"To believe...... simply means to act as though it is true!!!"..?

WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To believe, is not simply ACTING AS THOUGH THE WORD OF GOD IS TRUE!
To believe, is to have the Word of God become reality in your flesh.
It is not the case where one acts as though it is true, but because it is TRUE, one conducts themselves by its power.

So here is my question to you: Are you ready for the return of Jesus Christ? Will you be ready to step into eternity? Are your ready to reign with the Creator of the universe Jesus?
Or do you still lie in your mud pit with lovers?

We prefer godly life and obedience to everything what our God Jesus commands....Follow us!

That is why He commands us: Be HOLY for I am HOLY.

Hmmm, it's not so much a command as it is a promise or a statement of a fact, I don't know about you, but the longer I walk with the Lord the more I realize I'm a dirty rotten sinner, ...anything but Holy, ...saved by His amazing grace.

If I were to try and be Holy, compared to the standard of a thrice Holy God, all my efforts and works would be, ..........as filthy rags, ...in light of that I think I'll consider it and accept it graciously as a promise and my standing in Christ, Phil 3:9 ...because if it were a command I would fail miserably!

2 Timothy 2:21 ESV
Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart as holy, useful to the master of the house, ready for every good work.

1 Thessalonians 5:23 ESV
Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Thessalonians 4:3 ESV
For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immoralit

Romans 6:6 ESV
We know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin.

1 Corinthians 6:11 ESV
...And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

2 Peter 1:2-4 ESV
May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. His divine power has granted to us ALL THINGS that pertain to life and GODLINESS, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence, by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the DIVINE nature, having ESCAPED from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire.

Honesty is an internal reward granted by God to those who are same. We all come before Him with an evil conscience. There is no use in trying to hide the facts.

Hebrews 10:22
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

This automatically puts us in a position of dire weakness, and in that the Power of God is not only needed, but promised.

Perfect Holy people have no need for honesty and even less for Truth. I understand my perpetual need is Him.

Hebrews 5:14
But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

The evil strong meat can be pretty tough to chew.
