Dave,

Yes.

Not as a work of our dead body.

Through the obedience of Jesus. Jesus' obedience is our keeping of the 10 commandments without spot or wrinkle.

Rom 5:19
19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. KJV

Rom 7:25
25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. KJV

Phil 3:3
3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh. KJV

1 Cor 9:20-22
20 And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law;

21 To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.

22 To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. KJV

This is the balances of the sanctuary, the balancing of the clouds, the balancing of our thoughts and feelings, our conscious thoughts and our unconscious heart. Conscious freedom in Christ Jesus must beware of unconscious despisement of the law of God's restraint given through Moses, lest our liberty in Jesus corrupt into a license to serve the fleshly desires of this life, and the prophecy spoken in Ezekiel 28 be fulfilled in us as it was in Judas.
Ezek 28:15
15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.KJV

2 Tim 2:19
19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. KJV

Luke 13:27
27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.KJV
