Is it a natural phenom that women don't freely associate with men...or men don't freely associate with women.

There has always been a: 'A guy is around', and all women assume a particular mood....vice versa.

Are we different just because of our biological differences?


Adam was never shy having Eve around. They did whatever they wanted...and God was with them.

Everything changed when they ate the apple.

So, today, why all these unconscious differences? :dunno

If you read between the lines you will see what the problem is. If there is any enmity between men and women, it's because that's the punishment.

I have friends who are male, I have friends who are female. Most of my closer friends are female, but I have no problem being close friends with a male.

Like most other posters I doubt that assumption is true in the first place.

It's a cultural thing. My mother was very suspicious about me having so many male friends, because when she grew up girls and boys did seperate things. In some countries in the world it's still like that, they keep boys and girls seperate. But for most of us it's normal to have friends of both genders. Women and men do the same stuff and face the same challenges in life, so it'd be impossible to never associate with somebody of the other gender.
I only become a bit shy when I feel attracted to a guy, but other than that hanging out with guys or mixed groups seems very natural. So there's no barrier. It's just our upbringing and our environment.

"Ahhh, well I wouldn't think so." GOD created women for man so why would there be a barrier? Sure we have our difference but I think in your opinion you are addressing a more contemporary liberal women that is less than scripturally sound. A Christian woman is one of modesty, gentleness, kindness and respectful of their husbands and other men as well. Knowing full well that Adam was formed first then eve. Being silent in worship and not leaders.....possessing the gift of childbirth and being content as helpers.
