I've never been into religion but something remarkable just happened, thats why im here now. Ive had this really bad toothache all day, So i prayed to god, I really tried my hardest, So i put my hands together asked for help, then as soon as i released my hands, within a second of my hands being removed from each other, the pain went.....just like that.

how can this be?

Well, God does answer prayer, and He is in control of everything, so this could definitely be an answer to prayer. Also, God works through the other people He brings into your life, so if you have more toothaches--I'd recommend seeing a dentist. :) Welcome to cf.net, btw.

This is truly one of those miraculous experiences where God uses the prayer of the seeker to prove to him/her His own existence, and that your choice to pray was the right one. Do not expect such miraculous healings from this point forward -- it might be the only one you experience in your life. But I feel led to tell you, this is a special occasion and one which should cause you to take note and seek further, until you know Him as He wants to be known by you.

Exactly. The Lord can use miracles big and small to call people toward Him. Something as simple as relieving a toothache in your case, or in my own the overnight disappearance of a planter's wart (or a seed wart, if you prefer. Short version I dug the seeds out repeatedly, and it kept coming back for over a year. Then they finally wanted to do surgery to remove it, and as coincidence I had agreed to go with my friend to church even though I didn't believe yet. I answered the altar call and was prayed for because I didn't want the surgery I was scared of. I literally woke up the next morning and the thing was gone. Even the doctor couldn't explain it. I'll admit that didn't convert me overnight, but it definitely got my attention).

But I concur with number. Take note of this and beginning looking into the Word, and learn who the Lord is. Then go from there. God bless.

jamie, I would start with reading the Bible. If you don't have one, you can go to http://www.biblegateway.com. A lot of people recommend starting with the gospel of John. Romans is also a good one. If there is a Bible-believing church in your area, I'd recommend going there and talking to one of the pastors and discussing God's plan of salvation with him. People here can discuss it with you, too, but I'm a big believer in meeting with someone face-to-face. These are the first steps I'd recommend.
