Did Jesus believe in his virginal conception?

I've been trying to find verses that support this and haven't been able to come up with anything. I presume some of you will be able to help.

Jesus definitely knew who He was. He knew that He must be about His Father's business...and we're not talking about carpentry, here. ;)

John

I wonder what Joseph thought about that..

but seriously is there anything in the New Testament about this?

John 8

42 Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me.

Jesus was born of water (woman) under the law, but He says He proceeds from the Father.

Yep, Jesus knew exactly who He was and where He truly came from, He knew the Father PRO-created with Mary....

Hope this helps. :study

I do not think that anywhere in the Bible Jesus says directly that he believed in His own virgin birth, but He did allude to it.

Jn 8:58 “I tell you the truth,†Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!â€Â
In these Scripture Jesus lets us know that He know He was not like us normal humans because He existed in the time of Abraham. He also says to the Father, in other places.

Jn 17:24 “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.

Jn 17:5 And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began.

Please let me know if this helped at all.

Try reading this around verse 41 and let me know what you think. Jesus is reported to be 12 at this time.

Luke 2:48-49 (Net Bible) When his parents saw him, they were overwhelmed. His mother said to him, “Child, why have you treated us like this? Look, your father and I have been looking for you anxiously.†But he replied, “Why were you looking for me? Didn’t you know that I must be in my Father’s huse?â€Â

in matthew it says the holy ghost overshadowed mary and that which was in her womb was child of the holy ghost

yes, he did. joseph knew after a dream that his wife was carring the child of God in her womb and not his son, after the flesh.

when they left jesus behing in the synagogue and when they found him, mary denied the virgin birth and said, .."your father and I"....BUT Jesus corrected the error which the Word always corrects the error. jesus said, i must be about my Father's business...

then he said who is my MOTHER, brother, sister? he who doeth the will of God, the same is my MOTHER, brother, sister...

then on the cross, Jesus said, Woman(not mother) behold thy son-speaking of John and john behold thy mother.

God created both the sperm and the egg and mary was a serogate or an incubator. it was not her egg. behold a body has thou prepared me(the body comes from the egg and the life or blood comes from the sperm). both the sperm and the egg were creatd by God. it was truly a virgin birth.

When we consider that Jesus STATED that He IS God's Son, there is little other evidence needed to see that He was WELL aware that He HAD NO 'earthly father'.

Blessings,

MEC
